Reflective of the excellent price, clean and adequate for a stopover en route to the Channel Tunnel. Restuarant and bakery within walking distance. Beds comfy and family room generously sized as always. Just a bit of a dated hotel compared to some B&Bs but perfectly fine for a stopover and price was excellent.

The hotel is in convenient location. Close to the motorway, shops and some good restaurants. Room for 4 was spacious. Air con working fine, shower hot and clean bedding. There was quite a strong smell from bathroom, we run water into every waste thinking it may be a hot weather and room being empty for some time, but smell didn't disappear. No lift in the hotel, so luggage is your problem. Staff was friendly and helpful.
