"At the price point, this is a very superior hotel. It is approximately a block from the downtown Square near many many restaurants and all the rest of city center. Is this where I stay when I need to go to Bergerac. "

Housekeeping discovered it even before I knew of my mistake, the desk called me and kindly arranged to have it sent to me by post. (I paid for postage expenses, of course.) "The room I was in was extremely noisy. Whenever somebody used water above me, I could hear it rushing through the walls or pipes. It woke me up several times over the night. I really wouldn’t stay here again, the lack of sleep was a little bit distressing."

"The property is lovely, although a little tired; the room was large with sofa, good storage and some strange wall hangings (think swords and battle axes!), but the bed was below par - two different beds pushed together that moved and were not very comfortable. The gym is good with a balcony that looks over the forest, and the spa was great with good massages and spa facilities. Overall, a recommend, but wish they would upgrade the bed, pillows and bedding to match to overall feeling of the hotel. "

"Our room was spotless, well-equipped and supremely comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was very good. There is very little you would walk to from here, but if you have a car this is an excellent stop. "
