"there is a new side and an old side to the hotel. We stayed on the old side. There was a very large spider in our room. There were cobwebs on light fixtures in the bathroom corners. The staff was excellent and attentive. I am gluten-free, and they did try to make accommodations. They did have rules for me. But not much for me to eat. "Despite a late check in, there was no problem, staff were very friendly and efficient. Hotel was nice and quiet. Breakfast was excellent and plentiful, coffee was lovely. The restaurant was very good, but disappointed no beer available at all the night we were there. Nothing much in the area where the hotel is, but a short drive into St Emilion which is lovely,"
