"I arrived and the owner wasn’t expecting me even though I had booked earlier that day through Expedia. The room was fine, hard mattress but I like that. "Breakfast exceptional. Staff so helpful. Very easy to take our dog and rooms perfect for our children as adjoining. Fun swing for our boys in the lovely gardens. Rooms very modern, well appointed, well designed and clean."

"At first there was a bit of a mixup regarding accommodation but the owner went out of her way to rectify the situation & was more than helpful. Had a very nice meal at a local restaurant Contine. The breakfast which was included was very good with home made preserves etc. Parking on the street wasn't a problem at all. Would recommend staying in this beautiful historic small chateau. Thank you."

"Stayed for 3 nights in October 2025. The stay was very pleasant. The room was comfortable, warm and clean. The hosts were very accommodating and done rverything to make my stay plesent. The property is in a very nice, remote, and quiet area. Chateaubriant is a ten minute drive away, with lots of nice restaurants. Dinner one evening was very plesent and good value for money. Would definitely return. "
