Place was too hard to find. No directional sign s and proper lighting on the driveway and street. I had reserved the room with private bathroom. However, they changed it to “shared bathroom” which was unacceptable and unhealthy. No normal necessities (Soap, etc.) in the room. I have never had such a bad experience with this hotel in my life. This place is perfectly fine to sleep when you have a 6:00 AM flight, although breakfast isn't served early enough for that on weekdays. More importantly, it borders on dangerous to walk here to from the train station/airport because there are no sidewalks. Google Maps literally sent me on a highway underpass with a curve. It was 10 PM so I took out my cellphone & turned the light on, praying that cars would see me. I mentioned this to the front desk and she wasy like "Yeah, I know." Final point, the card in the room says you can request extra pillows, but the front desk was like "No, sorry, we don't have any."

It may not be 5* luxury but Hotel F1 is fun, clean, comfy and convenient. The staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. We had a great time and would recommend. Walking directions from airport: turn immediately left, and follow covered walkway next to the open car park, walk alongside F4 multi-story; under tunnel at end, follow pedestrian footpath to the road, take a left then turn right, over motorway bridge and first right.

Unfortunately very hot (heat wave), no fan or screens on windows meant we got mosquito bites and was difficult to sleep. Enjoyed the bats hunting just outside the window- they might have helped with the mosquitoes. Shared toilet light didn’t stay on when the door closed - needed to use phone light.

A step up from a hostel

Staff was super friendly. We dropped our bags off at noon but ended up checking in early for just a small fee. Walking distance from BSL airport. It is a step up from a hostel. Well worth the price for two people and for the privacy. Didn’t love the conditions of the shared bathrooms, but for the price, I would totally get a room here again.

Overall good for the money. Property needed a little maintenance. Doors were tempermental and in need of attention. Breakfast options were very limited. Staff was very helpful and pleasent. I would stay here again and recommend it for a budget minded traveller.

No towels in either the room for the sink (without soap or anything similar) or the seperate bathroom/the shower room. The bathroom floor was extremely sticky and didn’t seem to be cleaned for a long time. The blanket was torn and not what you’d expect in a hotel. The walls are not soundproof at all, I heated everything that was going on on the floor, and not just right outside my door.
