Likes: Bay Motel had a table & chairs, high quality TV, luggage holder, plenty of "table space", comfortable bed, very quiet refrigerator, full-sized mirror, carpeting, plenty of lighting, clock, hangers available. Dislikes: The toilet did not have a lid, bathroom towel rack too low, hair dryer didn't work, high step getting into the shower room.

The floor was filthy and sticky. However the bathroom was clean and usable, and that's what I really wanted. The staff was friendly. It was what I paid for.

Got the hot-tub room. After filling it (2 hours to fill), the jets would turn off and on randomly, even if jets were set to "off", have to unplug to get the jets to shut off. The heater doesn't work to keep the water hot. Walking through the room would cause the TV to go out. Place was low priced, staff was very nice! Wasn't very impressed with amenities. I would recommend spending the extra $20 for a nicer place.

I prefer the "older" style of motor inns so that I can drive up to the office to check in, then drive and park just steps from my room so I had hopes for this property. The good: the bed was comfortable and the woman at check in was pleasant. The bad....checking in was like walking into a smoking den. The room was unbelievable. Of course, the decor was a mishmash but, for me, that's to be expected from a budget hotel. The wall a/c was quite literally probably 30 years old and very noisy, The bathroom had been remodeled so that the original shower opening had been reduced by 1/2 to allow installation of a tub, the overhead light had a covered conduit to get the wiring to the wall plug, there was a large cobweb swaying in the breeze, no coffee maker, the refrigeration wasn't even plugged in, and there's lots more. IMO if all the rooms were like the one I stayed in this property needs to be completely overhauled. I question why it's included on the Expedia website.

I stayed here for 10 days and have no complaint. The room was clean. It was quiet. There was a refrigerator and microwave. Excellent value for the money. I will stay here again when I’m in the area.

Easy to find, friendly staff.

Showed up for my stay, and found out I had no reservation. The manager said he never received my notification from Hotels.com and that he didn't have the room available I was requesting. He was kind enough to find me a room down the road at a neighboring motel that was actually a little bit cheaper. He also called and spoke with Hotels.com and had my money refunded by the next morning.

We expected to much. Didn't check it out close enough. No coffee maker, no microwave. Did have a mini fridge but blew circuit if used the air conditioner and hot tub. Only good part was the four person hot tub.

Don't go to Bay Motel

Didn't have room that was reserved, but charged me for it. given a smaller room with single bed. Charged me $60. No Heat, room was cold! The heat was turned down to 50 degrees, floor/ baseboard heat. Room didn't get to above 65 degrees until after 5 AM.
