The building is newer and clean. However, the wall is thin. You can hear neighbor’s snore. That made me nightmare couple of the days during the stay. You also cannot stay in your room during the cleaning. (Most of the hotels in Japan, you can stay in room during the cleaning) the refrigerator, you cannot save ice cream and other frozen items.

Just adjacent to Saga JR & bus station. Very convenient. The room is not big though, the room is very clean and tidy with bright room light and facilities like power ports and TV with Netflix and Youtube. What's more, the bath is very good!

We had a pretty good stay at the Toyoko Inn Saga. The Japanese style breakfast was great for one of us. The tub was nice but there were hairs left in the bathroom and a few pieces of plastic left on the floor of our cleaned room. Note that check in is at 4! Pretty late and the latest of anywhere we stayed in Japan. You are not allowed in a minute before 4. They have self check in and checkout machines that seem redundant. The staff still have to assist with it as it’s not very straight forward. Why not just have staff check you in? Conveniently located right next to a JR line station and little shopping centre.
