Friendly staff, clean room. The elevator needs some work done on it! And the laundry room needs to be repaired.

Elevator could use some work. Door way slow and some of the non room areas were overlooked when cleaning. Enjoyed my stay and was pleased would definitely stay there again.

The Staff was very friendly & genuine. Front Desk Employees, Riley & Evelyn were wonderful!! My room was so comfortable, very clean & a pleasant experience. The Breakfast Buffet was very, very nice. It had the expected breakfast food which I feel satisfies most everyone. Plus, had items that would work for food sensitive guests. The Lounge Bartenders were great…friendly, engaging & mixed incredible drinks as well as the typical standards. I highly recommend this Hotel & will be staying there again.

The motel staff was very friendly. The breakfast was very good. The pool area looked as if it had not been cleaned in a few days . The bed was comfortable , the pillows were very hard. Overall it was a good stay, but definitely not worth the $200 nightly rate. It was the first time we stayed at a Best western Plus.

The room was updated including new towels and sheets. The hallways were warm, but the rooms were cold. The room could be a tad cleaner, but was decent. Quiet, considering it was occupied by a lot of the miners that work nearby as they all get up a lot earlier than I did. Was only there 1 night for a work trip so it was ok. I would stay here again if the price went down. Definitely wasn't worth $166 a night.

Very nice hotel, great staff. Pool area was nice enough. Breakfast was not very good. Better than nothing, but "cheese omelets" looked and tasted like fake eggs and were luke warm.Hash browns and potatoes both days were under cooked, luke warm and soggy. But overall, a good place to stay for the price. If you want an actual good breakfast , go out to eat.

This is a very nice place to stay and I’m sure we will return. Rooms are clean, comfortable, attractive, and quiet. Laundry room was dirty and in disarray… I don’t often do laundry in a hotel but it was less than ideal here. Breakfast was adequate. Staff were helpful when needed. Espresso machine wasn’t fully working which was a minor bummer. Would be great if they had a small dog potty station somewhere on the grounds but the grounds have some other nice amenities like basketball court and cookout area. Overall great job - thank you!

getting run down quick!

Stayed here a few years ago and it's sort of gone downhill. I think sometimes staff doesn't realize how important the outdoor presentation is. Clean up the smoking area. Just because people smoke doesnt mean we want a dirty area to do so? Broken seating and lack of proper disposal for cigarette butts means a dirty, run down looking area. Keeping parking lots clean keeps your floors/carpets cleaner, too.

Friendly staff

It’s been forever since I’ve encountered ALL staff members to be friendly and helpful. It’s clean, rooms are spacious. Pillows need more variety in sizes/thickness. Bed mattress runs slightly firm BUT not uncomfortably hard, I like softer beds but slept well. Was disappointing that their coffee/hot chocolate machine was out of order, especially for a weekend because they didn’t have refills for them. Also, we could hear the person above us getting ready at 4am ugh but with the AC, it acts like white noise so one night I didn’t even hear him. The breakfast was good, when something ran out, I told the lady and she was super quick to make it/bring it out. They offer cereal, oatmeal packets, breads, waffles (they are not the best), fresh eggs, biscuits and gravy, sausage, and yogurt. On Saturday they also had potatoes. They have a refillable water station. We will be staying here again next time we come back.

We were in the Safford area to engage in day hikes in the Aravaipa Canyon and Mt. Graham area. The hotel was great. The staff were extremely helpful. The dining options in Safford and Thatcher weren't great, but if you are travelling to the area for the hiking, it is hard to beat. I would highly recommend this hotel.
