I wasn’t expecting much since the price of this room was so affordable compared to other hotels in the area. It was a clean room with a nice rain showerhead and a big TV which was perfect for one night, We were not on a vacation but just came to celebrate a birthday. Seems like a few down on their luck people staying there longer term but we weren’t bothered by them and surrounding area was fine. There was a nice Starbucks very close by. We didn’t have our dog with us but very dog friendly place with grassy areas and bags provided. Staff was nice.

The property was very clean except the top of the desk under the TV had a little bit of dried up soda or syrup on it. The staff was very helpful for check-in and check-out. Room is modern and well maintained but a few of the floorboards need refinishing and in the morning the mini fridge made some clicking noises. Free WiFi was good. Everything in the bathroom was good.

Parking and checking in and out were easy. But room wasn’t cleaned very well. There’s literally only one microwave on the property that is in the lobby and isn’t always accessible 24/7. I get the whole Covid thing and trying to save money through limited staff. But clean the rooms! Especially vacuuming and changing the sheets.

There was no hairdryer in the room, which there usually is, even at a Motel 6. When I asked housekeeping in case I just didn’t see it, they told me where I could find a Walmart to buy 1. The location was good, though, close to many restaurants, so there was choice when meeting friends. One surprise is that the only sign visible from the car was at the back of the property. There was no sign at the front entrance, except for a “6” in stones on the small lawn.

I really appreciated the staff checking in, she was very helpful. The area was decent and presentable. The room once walking was the issue for me; right when I opened the door it smelled like a bathroom, urine smell and like a portable-bathroom. We were tired and we had febreeze spray to cover it up just so we can get a night's rest and head out. The room though was decent looking, the floors were dirty as you could see black from the floor towel after getting out of the shower. We just walked in out slippers. If TV and wifi is needed, RM 218 was like a dead zone, channels were scrambled.

My room was dirty. Counters were dirty and stained and when room service came they folded the same bath and hand towels I had used the day before. The whole experience was disgusting. The bed dram was metal and made loud noise when moving on it. It was like a prison bed frame. No shampoo, no coffee no amenities what so ever just a bar of soap.
