Nice family hotel in a calm corner of Saas valley

I stayed in this small family hotel almost every year since 2016 at the end of August or beginning of September. Good breakfast, spa area (jacuzzi, sauna, hamam), very friendly and helpful owner. Also, when you stay during the summer, you will get a free cable car pass (+local buses in Saastal) in a form of an electronic pass. The area is very calm especially compared to Saas Fee and Zermatt. Having a car definitely helps if you want to have a dinner in one of those fancy restaurants in Saas Fee. The only downside is limited local options for restaurants - it’s either pizza or rösti. I would highly recommend this hotel for those interested in hiking / climbing / walking in the Saas valley

Das Hotel hat 2 Teile, so wie es aussieht. Wir waren im alten Gebäude (nicht viele Bilder online), das Zimmer war okey, sehr hellhörig. Für diesen Preis haben wir nicht mehr erwartet. Die Heizung im Zimmer war lauwarm und es war etwas kalt im Zimmer. Das Frühstück war sehr gut und im Preis inkl. Super Lage, Piste befindet sich ca. 2Min. entfernt zu Fuss. Das Personal war sehr freundlich! Im Grossen und Ganzen gut wer 2-3 Tage dort bleibt.

Ich habe eine Unterkunft gehabt. Alles andere hat mir nicht gefallen. Schon im Eingangsbereich riecht es übel. Das Zimmer war sauber. Das Bad war so weit ok. Dusche und Warmwasser funktionierte. Leider machte der Heizkörper Plätschergeräusche, die ganze Nacht. Der Heizkörper im Zimmer war nur lauwarm und das zu Winterzeit wo draußen der Sturm fegte. Es war für mich zu kalt im Zimmer. Das Bett, bzw. die Matratze war eine Katastrophe! Ich spürte die Holzstreben darunter beim Schlafen. Insgesamt nicht empfehlenswert!

This hotel is not the more newest, but it has it’s charm and is still in good maintained. The place is clean and the owner did his best to serve us and make our staying as confortable as possible. Fancy rooms design that gives to your staying something special...

Très sympathique hôtel et bien situé

Hôtel très sympathique où on a envie que les hôtes se plaisent. Il y a même une petite salle commune avec jacuzzi et sauna. Superbe déjeuner, les omelettes étant préparées minutes par le patron.

Personligt, trevligt hotell med bra frukost+läge

Jag var väldigt nöjd med mina 4 dagar i Saastal. Hotellet ligger perfekt, nära det familjevänliga skidomradet i Almagell och nära skiduthyrare, restauranger och bussar till Fee och Grund med mera skidakning. Hotellet är lite slitet men avskräcks inte av receptionen (skadad ytterdörr när jag var där) och lite enkel standard pa rummet. Värdinnan är väldigt trevlig och hjälper till med det mästa för att det ska bli sa bra som möjligt. Tipsar om trevliga vandringar eller annat. Frukostbufféen är riktigt bra. Spaavdelningen fräsch och bra (kanske lite väl varmt i bastun). Det var inga problem för mig att fa ha kvar rummet till kl 15 pa utcheckningsdagen eftersom det var mitt i veckan da det är lugnare. Jag kan absolut tänka mig att komma tillbaka.
