Einen Fehler nach dem Anderen....

Wir haben 6 Zimmer mit Halbpension im Januar 2020 gebucht. Ich führte x Telefonate und Mails. Zwei Tage vor Anreise telefonierte ich nochmals um mich zu vergewissern, dass wirklich alles klappt. Als wir ankamen, fehlte zuerst ein Zimmer..., dann ist unser 4 Gang Nachtessen für elf Personen untergegangen. Man improvisierte für Fr. 40.- ein eher mageres 3 Gang Menu. Vorspeise 6! kleine Käsebällchen lieblos angerichtet. Der Hauptgang war gut. Ausser das Vegimenu war ein tiefgefrorenes Vegiplätzli (Patty), was als Vegiburger verkauft wurde... Bei der Abrechnung wurde dann auch noch fehlerhaft abgerechnet... Das Personal kann kaum deutsch und ist nicht professionell ausgebildet. Immer wieder mussten wir uns anhören, dass sie auch nur Menschen sind... und versuchten sich ständig zu rechtfertigen, was sehr unangenehm rüber kam. Der Kunde ist eigentlich König und für diese Preise dürfte man das auch erwarten! Schade, denn das Hotel ist als Ganzes sehr schön und sauber!

The definition of a mountain lodge

Late in the afternoon while driving cross country we realised we needed a place to stay for the night. We picked des Alpes more or less by chance. And what a gem we found. It is not big. On the contrary. Not only did this smaller property look like a dream chalet, the hosts made us feel like we were welcomed to a cozy home instead of a hotel as they asked if we "wanted to join them for dinner". The rooms are stylish with very comfy beds and a nice terrace/balcony. The lobby with the fireplace was a great place to relax and am sure even cozier in the winter. During the summer their meal offerings are limited and are made on the terrace BBQ. Simple but very tasty grill dishes and salads. And it really felt as we were eating in someone's home rather than a hotel. The breakfast was great yet not as plentyful as many resorts would offer, but far far better than most other places. We didnt miss anything vital and we are serious about breakfasts. The only thing we regret is that we only stayed one night. But with the proximity to the slopes it will definitely be on our mind for next winter's ski trip or another mountain hike later this summer.

Entire hotel and room is very cozy, homey and quiet. The owner herself is very professional and friendly. The receptionist is hard working and very efficient. No problem with parking. Nearby a lot of places to eat.

Sehr schönes hotel an der Hauptstrasse

Ein tolles hotel, völlig neu eingerichtet. Alles riecht herrlich nach frischem Holz. Das Frühstück und die Betreuung waren ausgezeichnet. Abzugpunkte: Kissen viel zu gross und hart. Es wären zwar Zusatzkissen angeboten, das sah ich allerdings erst am Morgen. Unser Eckzimmer lag direkt an der bereits am frühen Morgen stark befahrenen Hauptstrasse. Um 6 war spätestens Schluss mit Schlafen. Aber wir mussten ja eh weiter :-)

Vijf jaar oud hotel. Ziet er allemaal keurig en luxe uit. Het hotel licht prachtig maar wel aan een vrij drukke weg zodat bij geopend raam het geruis van verkeer hinderlijk doorkomt. Doe dan het raam dicht zou je denken echter door centraal gestuurde verwarming vonden wij het in de nacht dan te warm. Deze klacht was bekend bij het hotel. Op verzoek werd de temperatuur in de nacht aangepast. Aan de achterzijde van het hotel rijdt de trein. Daar hadden wij geen last van.

Wunderschönes, gepflegtes Hotel

Ein hervorragendes, wunderschönes Hotel, welches mit Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet wurde. Die Zimmer sind stilvoll und sehr gepflegt. Nur der Stauraum für die Kleider ist bei längerem Aufenthalt etwas knapp. Besonders betonen möchten wir den aufmerksamen, sehr zuvorkommenden und freundlichen Service von der Hotelverantwortluchen Veronika. Sie macht einen ausgezeichneten Job und gab uns Empfehlungen, welche wir gerne nutzten. Das Frühstück ist reichhaltig und sehr lecker. In diesem Hotel gibt es nachmittags sogar gratis Kaffee und Kuchen. Die Lage ist von Gstaad etwas weit, der Zug fährt aber einem von der Haustüre stündlich an alle Orte. Es ist eines der schönsten Hotels, welches wir in der Schweiz in den letzten Jahren gebucht haben.

Stylisches Hotel mit romantischem Chic

Das Hotel ist sehr bezaubernd ausgestattet, mit viel hellem Holz, natürlich warm, nicht überladen. Die Betten sind sehr bequem - wir haben ausgezeichnet geschlafen. Der Service ist zuvorkommend und aufmerksam. Das Frühstücksbuffet hat alles zur Auswahl gestellt, was für einen feinen "Zmorge" nötig ist. Wir würden jederzeit wieder hier buchen.
