Best hotel.in SaPa

This hotel possibly the best in SaPa. Friendly, English speaking staff, excellent service, great layout of hotel with very comfortable rooms can control the temperature. Great hotel breakfast and features, helpful staff and excellent location. Highly recommended.

A wonderful place

An amazing stay in a lovely hotel. Perfect for our needs. The hotel is perfectly located just away from the busy centre of Sapa. All staff couldn’t do enough for us. I would definitely recommend this place if you are visiting Sapa.

This is my second stay in the same hotel. Well located and has good ambience. I wished they offered us early check in as we arrived early by train from Hanoi and had to start our tour without the chance to freshen up.

I enjoyed staying at this hotel a lot. It was beautiful. Room was nice, while the exterior property was covered in lush foliage. Staff was professional and friendly. One thing to note is that the name of the hotel has changed a few times. Expedia refers to it as "BB Sapa Resort & Spa". It also used to be called "Victoria Sapa Resport & Spa" on some other travel sites. However, if you type either names into Google Map, it'll return a location marker with the name "Sapa Mountain Resort, Affiliated by Melia", leaving you to wonder if that is indeed the same place. It is.

The room itself was spacious and clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. However, we rated our experience a 3 out of 5 due to several notable drawbacks: - Misleading Amenities: The Gym, Pool, and Spa were all under renovation and completely unavailable. Unfortunately, these amenities were still listed as active on Expedia, which felt misleading. When we brought this up with the front desk, they apologized but didn’t seem interested in updating the listing to reflect the current situation. - Noise Issues: The walls—both between rooms and facing outside—were extremely thin. We could hear everything. Interestingly, the room came with earplugs, suggesting this is a known issue. - Temperature Control Limitations: The air conditioning system is apparently controlled by wing. Guests had limited control, can only adjust the fan speed. We had to push a bit to get control over our room’s temperature, which felt unnecessarily complicated.

The building was under construction, and there was no indication of that when booking. We had hoped to use the sauna facilities but they were closed. We were annoyed by that. The entire public area was cold, empty and unappealing. Employees were friendly enough but the front desk was usually unattended.

It was unfortunate that we had to wake up every morning with a banging construction noise starting 8am. It was told over prior messages that the pool is open but it was a false information so that we don’t cancel our booking with them. The exceptional buffet highlighted on the page was also not available because of low room occupancy. We were provided with a separate menu to chose from. Not happy about the dishonesty!

Lovely hotel, formerly Victoria with its own train from Hanoi. I used its sauna and steam room on both days. Stayed in ground floor room with garden view.

When we arrived at the hotel, we were shown our room by a security guard. There was no staff at the front desk or inside the whole hotel. We were not notified of the Wi-Fi code. The hotel was under construction with the hallways, boarded up. There were no amenities present such as access to the garden, pool and no spa services available. There was breakfast served the next day. We found out we were the only customers to the whole hotel. Staff left at the end of the day and we were alone in the hotel during the night. There was a security guard sitting outside the hotel. We also heard we were the last customers and the hotel was closing after we were leaving. We found it quite disturbing that we were not notified by Expedia that this hotel was under construction and was closing. We paid for full service with amenities, which were not presence during our visit. We would appreciate a refund, certainly for a part of our stay. This was a disappointing experience. We hope Expedia will offer better services next time. We have been using Expedia for many years and are a regular customer. We do expect good service. Thank you, Lydia.

Sono stata presso questa struttura durante un periodo di ristrutturazione e bassa stagione, ma nonostante questo il mio soggiorno è andato benissimo grazie alla preparazione e all'attenzione del personale, alla grandezza della camera, e alla bontà della colazione. Dalla reception mi hanno aiutata a programmare la mia visita al monte Fansipan, uno dei posti più belli, e per cui è essenziale controllare il meteo alla mattina. la colazione è molto ricca e assortita con i migliori prodotti sia dolci che salati e sia di gusto europeo che in linea con la tradizione di Sapa. Se fa freddo consiglio a tutti di chiedere un Ginger tea caldo: è buonissimo!
