「1) Checkin details were not provided - I had to contact Hotels.com and wait ±1hr outside in the windy street to get these. Checkin was 4pm but I couldnt get in until 90 mins later. 2) Once inside the building; Entrance hall filthy with full black bags in corner, wall staining, filthy carpets, laundry cages strewn. No-one around at all, felt very unsafe. 3) Once inside the flat, it felt like someone had just left in a rush, but I couldnt be sure until I had gone through the apartment. Spooky....

「Originally booked in at the Adagio Aparthotel but a long term group booking meant my room was no longer available. This was handled well though as they notified me in advance and transferred me to Novotel at same rate with breakfast included. The Novotel was in top condition and very comfortable room and bed. Very odd basin choice as no way to fill it as a modern design with no plug (maybe I'm old fashioned). Only minor quibble is comms and info available about restaurant times for breakfast....
