Very basic motel located in a boarding house situated over a bar. A bit overpriced for a no/frills property without even television access. Friendly staff, internet availability, close to restaurants and highway access.
Older dated place but very clean and comfortable room. Check in staff Tyler was a great person and brought us up to check room before check in. Restaurant staff was excellent and food was great.

What you can expect for a small town hotel. Super clean and not noisy.
Me and my two daughters stayed at the Asessippi Inn on 3/1/2024 and the room was perfect for us just to take showers and to fall asleep
Check in and check out was very easy
Spacious clean room. quite comfortable. However limited cable tv options. No coffee maker in room and restaurant doesn't open until 9 . Coffee shop down the street opens at 8 am

Location was great. Checkin was a bit sketchy. The new owners are welcoming. Typically id give this a 1 star, but i think the owners would like the inn to be successful. And hopefully my review can help fix issues. Im giving this a 3 star due to the following:
1. Washroom has no door, just a curtain.
2. There was a fire alarm that activated at 2-3am and there was no staff to take care of us. Everybody was in panic and the alarm didnt stop. Not staff to direct us to go back in the room. If it was a real fire it wasnt organized for safety. Because we use the hotel as a stop over when we drop by the town it was very inconvenient.
3. Limited access from front and back. Parking is a bit confusing. And no elevator and has uneven flooring. Not great for people with limited mobility.
From my experience i didnt get the benefit of cost and location due to our experience.
Basic accommodation, but everything that I required. The room was nice, well kept, clean, and COOL (very important in this heat). The host was super nice and very attentive to his guest’s (mine) needs. I would definitively recommend this hotel and would stay there again.
We booked a room with a queen bed, two double beds and a couple small futons. The room was spacious and clean. Bathroom was separated by a curtain which wasn’t a huge deal. Staff were friendly but not very talkative. Parking is provided on the street and on a small plaza out back. Overall we enjoyed our one night stay.
The hotel is older. It is a basic room ... no coffee maker. We stayed in #9. It was very spacious and clean. The TV did not have cable. It did have free netflix! The bedding was fresh and clean. We would definitely stay again.
Rooms are old but clean. No TV, limited parking. We got there on a Saturday evening, no restaurant, it was closed. Staff in the bar were very friendly and helpful. No front desk.

There was a mixup with our room. We were to have a larger one with 3 beds. In the end Eugene offered us an extra room at no charge. The rooms are not very modern but we’re very clean and comfortable. We found Eugene went above and beyond and we would recommend this inn.
I was on the way to Alberta with both of my parents so I stayed here for 1 night in early August. Not all rooms have AC but it was not hot inside my room. The owner was really kind and went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable.
Staff were friendly and very helpful, even though we arrived quite late at night. Our room was large (twice the size of a typical hotel room) and clean. The queen bed had an older spring mattress that was decent but not overly comfortable. The sofa bed was older with a thin mattress. (Ask for a room with a futon instead of a sofa bed.) Walls were on the thinner side so noise carried from other guests and the bar downstairs. The flight of stairs was quite steep--watch your step. Rooms were being updated. You could tell the owners took good care of their property. We had a fine experience and would book here again.

This is an older small town hotel and the room matched the description. The room was clean, larger than expected and was setup as a suite. However, there was black mold in the shower that we had the staff clean up. The owner was accommodating for dealing with issues. The room had a fridge and microwave but surprisingly didn't have a coffeemaker. We had to go out for morning coffee since the restaurant didn't open until 10 AM. We could hear music from the bar at times too.
The room was very clean. The staff was very friendly & accomodating.
Unfortunately the restaurant was closed due to staffing issues. The bed was smaller than expected as well as the love seat sized futon, which we needed for sleeping accommodation.
The picture of the room in the booking site was a fair bit larger than the room we were given.
The building itself is quite old & parking is on street. We did not have a problem parking at all. And with access to the rooms being off street front - the parking worked well.
Being a travelling construction worker by trade - I have stayed in many very similar hotels in smaller cities/towns.
This was one of the cleaner, older hotels or motels I have stayed in. However the price was by far the most expensive for the condition of this property. I would have expected to pay about 1/2 the price or less than we did, for the condition of the amenities.
But as described at the beginning - the staff were very pleasant & the room was clean. If you have to get only two things correct - those would probably be on the top of my list.
