"We were greeted by the host, who showed us around and made us feel welcome, despite arriving later in the evening. Though we only spent one night, the place was perfectly clean and comfortable, and should we return to that part of France, we'd be very happy to stay again."

"We arrived after reception closed so had to use the out of hours screen outside but despite multiple attempts it wouldn't recognise our booking. Had to use the emergency contact no, and a member of staff came out to help. After failing to get it to work she opened reception and checked us in manually. Bit frustrating but ultimately resolved by helpful stuff. Everything else was fine & good value for money."

The village itself is beautiful, and the peaceful surroundings made our visit extra special. The pool and spa area were a fantastic bonus, perfect for relaxing after exploring. "We stopped at La Mansarde enroute to a tour of the war graves and memorials in France & Belgium. Our host Jacqueline was an absolute diamond, and what we both lacked in fluency in the native tongue of the other, was suitably accommodated via translation tools. La Mansarde is truly beautiful, very comfortable, within walking distance of fine restaurants and with the most brilliant host. I will stop in five other establishments across the duration of this trip, and nothing else will surpass La Mansarde."
