My stay at this hotel was truly wonderful. It was not only a clean and peaceful place, but also a warm and welcoming one. The view from my hotel room was absolutely breathtaking, overlooking the majestic mountains and the serene Thunersee (Lake Thun). It was a dream come true !

What a horrible experience! It took us almost an hour to drive there, only to find out that the owl "made a mistake" and did not have a room for us. It's been over a week now and we are still trying to get back the money that we paid the owner. ($188 USD). We asked around at the neighborhood and found out that he does all of the time. What I would like to know is why Expedia even lists this property!!!

We loved the hostess but the host was rude. There was no clear instructions on where to park. The first night we just happened to park in the correct space by accident. The second night we parked on the side of the hotel. Again no parking instructions. The host came to the room extremely angry and rude saying we caused a big problem. We parked in the neighbors parking spot. He didn’t except our apologies and stormed off. The next day we checked out and he was not very pleasant. We paid our dinner bill for two nights at 100chf per night. Outrageous price for a dinner that consisted of four very small stuffed peppers and salad. The second night a small lasagna and salad. Ice cream but no coffee. I felt taken advantage of. It’s a shame because the view and room were lovely but our lasting impression was of his rudeness and taking advantage of us for the cost of meals.

Ho soggiornato, con mio marito e i nostri due bambini, in questa struttura deliziosa, pulita, ben arredata e curata in ogni dettaglio. La colazione é ricca e gustosa, e infine il proprietario Sergio, é stato gentilissimo e ci ha coccolati con i suoi modi attenti e discreti per tutta la nostra permanenza. Grazie di tutto!
