Best Western Pontypool Metro Hotel
Very friendly attentive staff at check in and breakfast service. The room was spotless, large shower cubicle, excellent hot water and good water pressure, with Dove products provided. Well lit car park, conveniently located near major roads. Healthy options for a working breakfast.

Green Dragon Hotel
I stay at the green dragon fairly frequently. The staff are always really helps, friendly and welcoming and the beds are super comfy. It's right in the centre of town and family run so has more character to it than a chain. I always enjoy staying there.
