Almost perfect - but the beds...
The hotel's location is probably one of the best in whole Rostock. The view of the city is excellent. It's also in a walkable distance of the eastern part of the city (for example Petrikirche). The rooms looked nice and clean. The service at the reception was friendly and very helpful. What I did not like were the rather uncomfortable beds. I was disappointed by the breakfast, the fruits seemed cut already the day before and didn't look fresh. There was an overall good selection but not enough of each. The breakfast did cost almost 10€ per adult, so I expected much more.

Loved the Warnemunde room!
We loved the Warnemunde room in Warnow Hotel--the wrap-around balcony with deck furniture, the great bathroom, and the spacious living room. We only wish we'd had more time to enjoy the apartment and to relax out on the lawn.

Loved this hotel.
We loved the room, newness, nice design and the quality of the materials used and the workmanship, the terrace with a view, the slightly remote location, exceptional breakfast (don't miss it), and the welcome drink and other extras. The nearby restaurant (Rosemarino) was exceptional. We were totally surprised by how much we enjoyed our 12 hours in Rostock. Instead of what we thought would be an inconvenient side trip, we only wished we could have stayed longer. We will make a point of returning someday.

Sleepover on our way to Sweden...
We were really surprised by this cute and modern looking little cozy hotel. We booked it for an overnight stay on our way to Sweden this Christmas (2013). The staff did not speak english as we arrived but was very helpful and understood every single word I spoke. I do understand some german, but rather not speak it because I just can't (never learned the language), so English was my way of communication. They understood everything, told me en german everything I needed to know and pointed me in the direction of our room. Boy was that a room! The hotel looks (and possibly is/was) like a newly built block of flats, with the purpose to serve as a future hotel. It's pretty modern, very good looking, and yet cozy! The rooms (flats?) are huge compared to other hotels in the same price range I've been to! You can see there's a lot of money invested (all the equipment in the rooms and the hotel/kitchen are high quality products), the staff is super-friendly and helpful, what else do you need? I did not ask but I'm pretty sure there is no restaurant on the premises, so this is just a bed&breakfast type of a hotel... But still! It's pretty awesome! Anytime I'm around or in the town of Rostock, this is the place I'll be booking, for sure!

Das Hotel Warnow habe ich für diesen Aufenthalt in Rostock sehr bewusst ausgesucht - ich kannte die Lage direkt am Weg an der Warnow, konnte aber natürlich nicht wissen, wie cool es ist, abends und morgens dort in die Stadt zu gehen, immer am Wasser - und gerade am Abend ist der Weg dorthin fast schon magisch

Für uns war es eine schöne Überraschung, dass am Rande von Rostock direkt an der Warnow so ein nettes Kleinod liegt. Ausnehmend freundlicher Portier, tolle Terasse mit abendlichen Sonnenuntergang und Getränken. Zimmer sehr schön und ruhig. Sehr empfehlenswert

Wir kommen wieder. Das Hotel ist klein, familiär, man hat einen fantastischen Blick auf die Warnow inclusive Sonnenuntergang,der Weg zum Hafen entlang der Warnow ist gut zu Fuß erreichbar,das Personal war sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich und nach einem trubeligen Strandtag findet man auf der Terasse genau die Ruhe, die es am Ende des Tages braucht.

Överlag bra och enkelt
Brandlarmet gick mitt i natten och blev väckt av brandkåren och sen igen tidigt på morgonen. Personalen hanterade dock detta mkt bra och strök vår restaurangbota samt bjöd på frukost. Rummet var väldigt bra för oss som var fyra personer, en mindre lägenhet.

Tolles kleines Hotel in besonderer und ruhiger Lage. Man kann am Wasser entlang in die Innenstadt laufen. Das Apartment war nett eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Wir hatten einen Balkon mit Sicht zum Wasser, wirklich schön!

Hotellet ligger vid floden Warnow utanför gamla staden. Med bil passar det bra och om du kommer med färja till Rostock så är det ca 15 minuter med bil. Trevliga rum som är olika i ett lugnt område.
