6-night stay with Family to end our Europe Trip

Absolutely amazing. We book a 6-night stay after our whirlwind visits to Rome-Paris-Barcelona. This hotel exceeded our expectations! From the food to the staff to the rooms to the pool to the beach. Wow! Hands down will stay here again if given an opportunity!

Chambre très agréable, propre, lit double, réfrigérateur, coffre, balcon vue mer, flacons de gel douche et shampooing dans la salle de bain remplis (ce qui n'est pas toujours le cas dans certains hôtels), climatisation…personnel à l'accueil très aimable, à l'écoute et réactif, services appréciables (consigne pour les bagages, possibilité de continuer à avoir accès aux infrastructures et services de l'hôtel après avoir rendu la chambre…), parkings (payants), plage devant l'hôtel, hôtel et quartier très agréables, plusieurs restaurants aux alentours, en plus du restaurant de l'hôtel, petit-déjeuner très complet et produits de bonne qualité. Chiens acceptés. On a aimé et on reviendra sûrement si l'occasion se présente.

El hotel perfecto, desayuno de increíble calidad, el mejor que he visto, playa perfecta, piscina pequeña. Hay que llevar sombrilla a la playa, no hay opción de coger amaca con sombrilla, para ir en familia y no moverse perfecto. Dificultad para encontrar aparcamiento, recomendable pillar parking en el hotel.

Hotel moderne et confortable. Bonne chambre avec bonne literie.mais donnant sur un mur ! Accueil sympathique Petit dejeuner très basique, et décevant. Portions déjà préparées, ce qui provoque un gachis inutile , parking assez peu pratique, or il est très difficile de se garer aux alentours en haute saison, piscine minuscule donnant sur la voie routiere très passante, petite plage, vite bondée. Nice family vacation

We enjoyed the stay ver much - located just in the beach (tough our rooms didn’t have beach view). Breakfast was very very good — plenty of options. We had connected rooms that was helpful as well. The risk is with the parking - there is free parking on the street but not always available place. But we were lucky to find one on both days.

La ubicación del hotel y el estado de sus instalaciones eran muy muy buenos. El desayuno muy rico y muy buena atención. Las habitaciones , principalmente el baño, un poco estrechas.

Hôtel 4 étoiles en bord de mer et de plage. Tout est parfait. Avec la COVID-19 le petit-déjeuner est servi à table mais toujours autant de choix qu’au buffet et le service est très rapide. Nous y retournons chaque année avec plaisir

Splendid hotel, next to the beach.

Canyelles Platja is situated in an excellent location and provides an amazing breakfast, with such a large choice of breads, pastries, cheeses and cold meats. Bacon and omelette too if you want a hot choice. Nice large rooms, with plenty of toiletries. Canyelles is a lovely quiet unspoilt cove, and there is also a bus every hour into Roses. We will be back!

The hotel is really well situated, close to the beach. We had a sea view room which was nice and the balcony was a good place to watch the world go by once the heat of the day had passed. The down side is that the main road that passes in front of the hotel is quite busy (the hotel has its own tunnel to the beach!) and can be noisy with the scooters and motorbikes blasting up and down, plus occasional Lamborghini. Still, with the balcony doors closed this was minimised, and wasn’t as prevalent on the evenings. The room has A/C and was kept spotlessly clean with daily cleaning. Parking in the hotel is pricey (€22 per night) but there is free on street parking around, provides you can find a space - we managed. Staff were good and all were polite with the reception team all speaking good English (perfect if one doesn’t speak Spanish/Catalan). Breakfast was superb! We ate in the restaurant one evening but didn’t like it - possibly a too fussy menu for us, but perhaps we just prefer simpler fare! The aren’t loads of places to eat nearby though, but the hotel had a good bar/restaurant (The Sloop) on the beach plus there is El Berganti along the road which we liked. It’s a beautiful area to explore if you have a car as well, with Girona and Figueres in easy striking distance and lots more besides. All in all, we had a lovely stay and would recommend it. (Wrote this on my phone - please forgive typos!)
