"If you are allergic to a cat, there is a lot of cats… I booked through Expedia. Upon arrival, the front desk couldn’t find my reservation and insisted on creating a new one with my card. After much insistence, they located it but had no room ready, forcing me to wait. Placed in a room with a strong urine smell (likely dog) in the bathroom. No room number signs in the hallway, and the same odor was in the main first-floor bathroom. No Wi-Fi password provided. Breakfast was okay. Photos on Expedia were misleading. Not sure if I’d return."

"Room was clean, but property as a whole is in need of a facelift. Pillows are ancient, yet mattress seems reasonable… breakfast very limited but in a clean dining area… bar seems to be in the old-school sports bar-with-character style. And Liberty itself has seen better days too. Overall, a peculiar mix of fine and “needs improvement”, but probably the best hotel in the immediate area."

"My stay was wonderful overall! The only issue we experienced was that our cell phones only worked while connected to WiFi, which made it difficult at times to contact the host by call or text. Other than that, everything was great and we enjoyed our stay."

"Stayed two nights with my small dog, and we had a great time unwinding in the Catskills. Staff was excellent and tended to our needs. Wonderful to have a brewery, restaurant and Saturday night music on the property. Not a fancy place, but we were comfortable and got some much-needed rest. They even packed up dinner and a couple of beers so I could eat in the room with my dog."
