Very spacious accommodation, comfortable and convenient - if rather noisy (close to a major underpass). The only real inconvenience was a lack of a wiping cloth (in the kitchenette) and, particularly for me, the lack of a mosquito net on the window. The spiral stairway to the mezzanine bedroom might not be so convenient for older residents. Good eating places just along the main road off Piazza Fiume.
Our stay at the Residenza Villa Marignoli was great. The staff was attentive and helpful, and there was always someone at the desk if we had questions. I took a group of college students as part of an ancient literature course, and they all loved it. The rooms are spacious and charming, each unique, and despite some dated features, things were well taken care of. The road noise was a bit of a problem for sleeping, but the excellent location more than made up for this. We were able to walk to the bus stops and metro easily, and we used the public transportation system many times. A great place--we would definitely go back again!
very spacious rooms, strategic location, fair cost are the main reasons to stay here. The building is charming and if you like 1970s style you will love the rooms - they are actually small apartments with kitchenette. They have not been recently updated, that is pretty clear, but they are totally functional.
The street is busy, but the flow of traffic did not disrupt our sleep. The position is great, just steps from Villa Borghese and via Veneto.
Nice characterful place to stay.
Less a hotel, more self catering apartments.
Reception is staffed 24 hours and we're always friendly and helpful.
The place lacks a focal point...no bar or lounge area other than the patio.
The electrics were a little Mediterranean.
Still, lots of character, clean and friendly if a little bit of a walk into town.
