"The hotel was a great deal. It was very very clean, and quiet. I like that they had signs asking guests to be extra quiet. No doors slamming, no people yelling. The breakfast had a nice mix of pastries, breads, meats, cheeses, and cereals. I really liked the grape, pomegranate cinnamon juice! I will definitely stay here on my next visit! "Lovely site. Stayed with seven adults and two children end of September. Great facilities but would recommend a car as taxis are scarce. We still managed to get ferries etc mainly from Portese which is around 20 minutes walk, but a very steep hill coming back. Shop could have sold more provisions and without a car the Supermarket is a long walk. But saying that it is manageable. Saying all that we had a great time . Salo is also walkable even for my husband and I in our sixties "
