This place is great! Is it brand new - no but it is very clean, with a great view. We stayed in unit 8 which has a balcony and the BEST view of the ocean. This property is right on the beach and you will not regret staying here. Be warned, the kitchen is pretty bare bones as supplies go so if you plan to do cooking, you will need to go get some of the basic items like tin foil, tupperware... It has the basic plates, bowls, silverware and light cooking utensils. I will stay here again for sure!

Ocean but no view
This is a vacation rental not a hotel. The fees associated are substantial. Advert was $85. Ended up$145. Advertised a balcony and a view. There was neither. Make sure you have the lockbox combination when you go as wireless service is spotty At the beach. It was clean and mostly as advertised. Check in was late 4pm, and check out early at 10am. But it is just steps from a lovely beach so maybe all in all it wasn’t that terrible.

Nice quiet place to stay. They supplied lots of games in the room. There are a couple of maintenance issues, fireplace did not work & only one door lock worked with the key.

There was an issue between Hotels.com and Vacasa and my reservation was not transferred to Vacasa and therefore the unit I had reserved was also reserved by someone else. Luckily, there was another unit available that I was able to stay in but it did not have the same amenities.

The tiny room was clean. It had a view of the parking lot. There was no kitchen sink. The fitted sheet popped off the shifting mattress continually. If there was designated parking, it could not be found. We left a day early for a better deal.

The room was small and not as clean as it might have been, blinds broken, etc. Daily service (linens, coffee, etc) was nil. There was no one in the office every time we looked for someone in charge. The posted price was attractive, but the the additional charges, cleaning charge, service, etc added fifty percent to the cost of the stay. These were charges that would be included with the standard price at any regular hotel. It left the feeling that this was an example of "bait and switch."

Quite a let down, when told a fully equipped kitchen which was only a microwave, a small fridge and dishes to be washed in the bathroom sink! We brought food to cook and had to throw the majority of it away. Cable TV...I think not... Garbage service daily, nope... Bed changed on 4th day, nope... Someone in the office, nope... Answer telephone, nope... You won't see us back there again.

Upon arrival the first thing I noticed was all of the P stains, actual yellow P stains and a human urine stain in the bathroom right next to the toilet. The place smelled musty and there was Dust and pet hair everywhere, I wore socks the entire time because I felt so I’m clean, and slept with a towel on top of the pillow is because the pillow smelled musty. The bed was lumpy and uncomfortable along with the lumpy gross pillows. Every window had something wrong with it the bedroom window did not even shut which made me feel pretty unsafe. The grounds were in disarray and look like they had not been properly kept in a while, No it was nice to be next to the beach, I feel completely ripped off by this place. This was my last and only time away for the summer, and I feel like it was so disgusting I would not even recommend somebody I did not like to stay there. The bedroom lamp was completely burned and I was afraid to even turn it on it looks like a complete fire hazard, there are multiple lightbulbs out, and I had to keep socks on the entire time due to the amount of dust and hair on the ground not to mention all of the pee spots! I wanna loan for three days so that I can get some peaceful time by myself but this place did not give me any peas in fact I felt very unsafe and unwell there. There’s nobody in the office to talk to and calling the phone number did not help I was on hold for an hour before I gave up. I would’ve left immediately if it hadn’t been 100% nonrefundable

Twin Rocks family get-away
The Ocean Rouge Inn has several units, each with differing number of beds and sleeping spaces. Unit #1 is a bottom level, 2 bedroom with a pull out couch in the living room. The unit opens to the properties common area that hosts sand volleyball, a fire pit, BBQ's, a play structure, and the beach access - right in front of the Twin Rocks. The property is well maintained and our unit was very clean on arrival. Unit #1 is perfect for a small family.
