"Excellent hotel. The staff were lovely, the room was beautifully clean with a brilliant view over the city, and the facilities were well maintained. Close to major transport links, a small supermarket next door. An overall brilliant stay."
"I was very pleased with the hotel. The rooms were spotless & very comfortable. The staff very courteous & the food very good. It was also very well placed for the city & were we needed to be on the Sunday. Thank you. "
"The staff were great - spoke English as well as French. The room was as advertised. Did not buy breakfast. Great location. Close to all transportation, the river, many monuments at the gate st Jean.
The hotel lent out umbrellas which was great.
Thank you for a pleasant stay."
"I enjoyed a 4 night stay in mid September, 2025. Although I was travelling solo, a had a really nice suite with both a double bed and a single bed in the other room. The kitchenette was suitable for simple cooking. I was lucky to have brought a sharp knife with me, as the kitchenette didn’t have that. I was also lucky to have brought a plug for the sink and a dish cloth (one simple kitchen towel was provided).
The area appears a bit rough in the evening, however, in daytime hours, lots of locals and visitors are in the area, commuting to the train station and/or school/work.
There is was a laundry room right on my floor, which was convenient. A small cost that can be activated with a recite card.
Be careful with making sure to lock your suite door behind you when you leave. I realized on my first day that it doesn’t automatically lock. I didn’t have any issues with anyone going into my suite, but I had to remember to lock the door with the key each time.
Staff were helpful at the front desk. I didn’t opt for cleaning or breakfast (additional prices), however, staff were happy to replenish toilet paper and dish soap upon my request."
