Visually the room looked clean, however the room smelled damp and moldy. There wasn’t a hairdryer in my room but the staff made it their priority to get one for me. Staff on all shifts were nice and helpful.

The staff was extremely helpful and welcoming when we checked in. They were very knowledgeable of the area. They provided us additional towels when needed. All of the staff that we communicated with at the front counter were very pleasant and friendly. We will stay with this property again when we visit Carrowinds.

The location was key for our needs.The room we got felt a bit Unaired, musty-ike carpet was maybe drying... had to change rooms where air felt cleaner. It was not a problem for hotel staff. ue was very courteous.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Check in was easy and without any problems. Breakfast was very good and had a good variety of items. Fairly good all around and fair price with a few maintenance cosmetic issues on property but room was clean and bathroom / shower was looking upgraded and clean as well. Parking was sometimes difficult because the slots are small and there were large pickup trucks that were taking up two spaces.

The room was clean, property is up to date, clean newer carpet and bedding, fridge, coffee maker and refrigerator was all good working condition. We stayed one night on our way to Florida and one night in our way back home, the property is good to stay with kids, staff is nice, breakfast is your regular waffles, eggs, muffins, cereal, coffee and toast, everything was clean and well kept, they have plenty parking areas, and it feels safe when we arrived (very late at night) I will definitely stop by again when we are back to Florida next year.

It was okay for place to sleep except for the area lighting which made it impossible to block out the light coming into the rooms. The breakfast was lacking. Okay if waffles is your thing because other than that it is basic coffee, scrambled eggs, potatoes, instant oatmeal, cereal and NO meat options or juice unless vita water counts. As far as staff, Matt who checked us in was great and aside from the guy who checked us out was the staff we could say showed any customer service skills. The man who was on duty the majority of our 3 night stay barely looked up and certainly wasn't going out of his way to help anyone. I came down one night to see if i might locate some plastic utensils in the breakfast area and he was sitting in the lobby feet propped up on his cell phone and while i walked around the dining area looking over the counter for eating utensil clearly within his view he never once acknowledged i was there or offered assistance and just continued with his phone call. Overall our stay was not as pleasant as we had hoped it would be.

We enjoyed our stay! The rooms are a little dated but comfortable and clean! Check-in and out was easy, all staff we encountered were friendly, and the breakfast was a good start to our day. Some hall noise from other rooms, but can be expected in almost any hotel. It was close enough that we were able to walk back from Carowinds and the QuickTrip was right next door for our morning caffeine run! We enjoyed our stay!
