Starting with the good-the room was spacious and clean. Having a mini fridge and microwave was convenient. Complimentary breakfast was good with meat, potatoes, eggs, cereal, yogurt, etc. On weekdays employee Johnny makes breakfast a treat with his outgoing and caring attention and comments. And the location is extremely convenient for the Mayo clinic. That said, I would never stay here again. There is a train that runs beside the property, Right Beside, and blows it's horn at midnight and 3:00 am every night. Just like a loud alarm going off right outside the window. Also, the beds are ridiculously soft, the softest I've ever encountered. If you like that, great. For me, with no support at all, they caused my back and body significant pain and I ended up sleeping on this little couch that luckily was in the room. Additionally, we needed to get our key cards re-set 4 times in a 5 night stay. Once due to the hotel changing their keys, but the other times who knows why. Front desk was apologetic, which I appreciated.

When asking for direction the desk attendant just stood with a blank expression. The Mayo Clinic was only a few blocks away and she didn’t know how to get there.

I was hoping the bed would be more comfortable, but my stay was very pleasant and I would be happy to stay here again. The proper appears new and everything is clean and in very good condition.

It was in a convenient location with a little bit of street noise. It is right next to train tracks however we only heard one once during the day. Breakfast was good and the attendee was very friendly and helpful. The room was lovely. Bed and pillows were comfy and the shower was great. Would stay here again.

Hotel is very nice and clean. My issue was 2 .5 hours delay from o’Hare international airport. Because of that I had to miss Important stuff I was planning to do

Easy and quick check-in. Staff is friendly and experienced. Their buffet breakfast has hot entrees, pastries, fruit and fruit juices, cereal, plus wonderful coffee. Clean rooms with walk-in showers. Covered parking is attached. Our decision is based on: close to Kutzky park, free covered parking and includes breakfast. . Very clean, new property! Scott M. at the front desk was extremely welcoming and helpful to me, providing everything I needed to know to enjoy my stay while my hubby is at Mayo Hospital. Parking was a breeze and card key secured elevators were a welcome surprise. Room is extremely quiet on the 8th floor.

We were there for a weeklong visit to the Mayo Clinic. Therefore, we wanted something with options to cook some of own meals. Hyatt House fulfilled this need. Although the refrigerator is a bit small, it served its purpose. Equipment for cooking was a bit under supplied, but we made do. All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay: wonderful staff, complimentary breakfast (mediocre), covered parking, and close to the Mayo Clinic! Will stay there again!

We use to stay at the TownPlace Suites but the prices went up so we tried this new hotel. Better price, great breakfast, clean rooms and great service. Just as close to Mayo Gonda building but a bit further to St. Mary’s. Wonderful pizza restaurant across the street too. May be our new fav.

Our room smelled like bleach when we first walked in. Thought it was the cleaning so we ignored it until bedtime. The pillows, sheets, and blankets gave me a headache and we found out where the bleach smell came from. The bed was also itchy. We tossed and turned and was not able to fall asleep. Finally, we ask the staff for help and he was very kind in giving us a new room that was perfectly fine. The only thing I wished the hotel to have is beef or turkey option for breakfast.

First of all the guy at the desk failed to do his job at check in and let me know that rooms were only serviced every 4 days unless you requested the room to be serviced or refreshed as some places call it. So no clean towels, beds not made up, garbage not emptied, etc. Then needed to use the computer and printer available, but it didn’t work. Desk guy printed out paperwork after I emailed it to him. Also the hotel is less than 100 yards from the trail tracks and a large intersection. Windows shake at the trains go by but you get plenty of warning that that’s going to happen as the trains have very loud horns. For the price I was very disappointed. But if you like trains it’s a great location! Had to stay another 4 days in Rochester and opted for a different location, less dollars, quite, nicer with more amenities for less dollars. Will be back to Rochester but not back here!

The hotel is fairly new, so in good shape. Shuttle to Mayo was very helpful. The young man in charge of breakfast was great!
