"Staff was very friendly but the room was not good. It was older which isn’t normally an issue but combined with the lack of cleanliness, it was not a place I’d stay at again. All the standard bottles - shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and hand soap - were totally empty. Our shower was filled with black hair upon arrival, and it did not drain. The AC/fan didn’t work well, and made a weird, frustrating sound all night. "

"The staff was amazing and friendly. Rooms were comfortable and clean and had everything we needed. Great walking distance to so many great spots, trader joes and easy walk to aquarium and field museum. Loved this hotel! Would definitely recommend and stay here again! "

"Clean! Very nice! Small pool, but NOT a free breakfast! Don’t waste your money! It’s a $25 voucher and everything is so expensive! And wouldn’t provide one for everyone in our room! "

"The location was great we walked to the Shedd aquarium in no time. The hotel was nice, we found it really irritating that we were constantly asked to join Hilton rewards by the staff standing at the elevators. Also you can not control the room temperature it was so hot and their solution was to open the windows which had no screens and it was pouring rain and everything was getting wet. They do not clean rooms or bring clean towels you have to call and ask every time you want clean towels. The history of the place is cool and they do have a Starbucks and restaurants. There is no complimentary breakfast. I’d honestly give this place a 3.5/5 stars. "
