"It was a handy campanile but we discovered when we got there that is was about to be refurbished. So there was no tea or coffee in the room and fittings were a bit tired. Nonetheless the staff were so kind and helpful so provided us with plenty of tea and coffee."

"Gave us the top floor, climbing that spiral stairs was a work out! Besides that location was good, close to port, transportation and restaurant. Public parking expensive if you have car. I would stay here again, but only if I get a first floor room."

We needed gas but the Carrefour station near the hotel was unstaffed with machines that wouldn’t accept our credit card. We drove on fumes to the town of La Palisse where there was a service station manned by very friendly and accommodating men. And
