"My stay at Empress Hotel was a most wonderful experience. Empress is located in a beautiful and safe city, Chiang Mai, and it's close to EVERYTHING. You can walk to many restaurants, and the major markets are all within a walking distance. The people of Chiang Mai are friendly, and the cost of living is low. The staff are so friendly and courteous. My birthday fell during my stay at Empress, and they lavished me with so many gifts! What an experience. I thank the staff for the outstanding hospitality. "

"This hotel was beyond our expectations. From the welcome every time we stepped into the property to the moment we left, the staff was very hospitable and friendly. The room was spotless and had all the amenities. The terrace room has a private hot tub that is on the entire day and cleaned periodically. The renovation is very luxurious for the room. We found it convenient to get a rideshare into the old city and nimman area where we spent most of our visit. The surrounding area is also very walkable with lot if spas, coffee shops, bars, and restaurants."

Reality of the pools and gardens, breakfast, food and dining area, service, architecture and room comfort were superior to photos and reviews. I truly cannot express how much I enjoyed Hongkhao Village. Service was exemplary. Breakfast exceeded my expectations, and I looked forward to it everyday. Pool and gardens, patios and balconies were magical. Especially at night. A terrific place to stay. I will be back."
