「The staff were courteous. The room was clean except for the filthy ceiling vent in the bathroom. There was no decaf coffee available to the rooms. The floors were uneven to the point of affecting a persons gait and "soggy" in places. Conversations could easily be heard from nearby rooms. I would not stay there again for the price. A light bulb was burned out in the bathroom. I informed the staff early after check in. The bulb had not been replaced by checkout on day 3.」

「From the moment we arrived, we felt we were at a magical hotel that was so warm and cozy. Staff are wonderful and very helpful. Our room was really nice and we enjoyed staying there. The room had dishware to use and you get a daily refresh. (No seafood allowed.) Breakfast is in a very cozy dining room. We would have preferred it open earlier but it is worth waiting for. 「We booked this for our mini honeymoon the three nights following our wedding (end of Sept) and were excited to stay in the King Suite. But ended up being quite disappointed. The room was very cold with no heat and the front desk person wasn't the nicest when we asked for extra blankets. We weren't expecting the red carpet but at least a "thanks so much for choosing to stay here for your honeymoon". Some of the staff were great but generally no one cared that we had chose Dalvay for our honeymoon...

「The listing said there was not an elevator but was not expecting the unit to be on a second level. They were proactive advising as it was off season there were limited restaurants open. The hot water wasn’t working but they immediately took care of the issue and were very attentive to this issue. All necessary items were available in the kitchen. 」

「We had a wonderful stay. The hotel was very clean and the pool water was pleasantly warm. Our room was spotless, comfortable, and well-maintained. The breakfast was delicious, with plenty of different food choices. We would definitely stay here again!」

「One of the best cottages in the Rustico/ Cavendish area! The two bedrooms are perfect for a family and the cottage is spacious with beautiful views. Nice that there's a playground and beautiful path to the water and an outdoor pool and hot tub. Cottage #1 is closest to the road and does get traffic noise but think the higher number cottages are probably very quiet. 」
