"This place is really special - it's a good experience, the staff is so nice, the restaurant is on site, and there are animals to visit. With all that said, the room itself was pretty shabby. The beds were wildly uncomfortable , the blankets had other people's hair embedded in it, and the cars/rooms are just run down. We were sad to leave the place in general but not the room itself. "

We left a day early, and even though we gave more than 40 hours notice, there was no refund or compensation. I was disappointed by the new $ cheap style of renos, not considering the historical setting or even the buildings."
