Wir wurden sehr herzlich und freundlich empfangen und auch über alles was man so wissen sollte informiert, zB über Bus, Bahn, wo kann man zu Abend essen usw. Sehr freundliches Personal, saubere Zimmer und ein köstliches Frühstück. Wir bedanken uns ganz herzlich für die Gastfreundschaft und können dieses Hotel nur weiterempfehlen.

We had a basic economy room so expectations were not high, but the room was very basic. No fridge/mini-bar, no coffee in room, mattress was bad and pillows terrible. Just a partial ocean view as well. That being said, it was clean and the location was perfect to hit all 5 towns in a day and a half. There was no restaurant and very few choices in town or close by. Breakfast was pretty good each morning. For the price and location I would say it is worth the stay.

Wonderful Hotel just out of Manarola

This place has a fantastic view from the courtyard that overlooks to sea. The walk to Manarola is a little challenging but to stay in Volastra is a great plan. This small town has a couple of restaurants that are great. The staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful.

This hotel was conveniently located near the bus stop which took us to where we could catch the train to visit the areas of Cinque Terre. Staff at the hotel were very nice and made every effort of make our stay comfortable. Breakfast was very good too.

The staff were so friendly and accommodating here. The breakfast was wonderful, with the warm mini pastries, fruit salad, and scrambled eggs made to order. The view was breathtaking and the distance to catch the bus was very convenient. There is also a mini market not far that sells the bus tickets for €1,50, along with any snacks, cold drinks, or fresh fruit. I enjoyed my stay here very much.

Séjour très agréable. Cadre exceptionnel, environnement reposant. Petit déjeuner copieux. Pas de restauration à l'hôtel, mais restaurant se trouvant à 50M. Possibilité d'utiliser la navette en bus pour se rendre à Vernazza. Personnel accueillant et serviable.

At first everything seemed to go extremely well, the staff member came to show us where to park, even helped bring a bag down to the hotel, was super nice and really genuine, thank you leandro. Then things took a turn, of course traveling in July my main concern when booking places to stay was to have AC in order to sleep well over night. The AC unit in the room is not AC, at best its cool air, when turned on for 12 hours it did bring the room down a couple of degrees, so the first night we really only slept well from 5 am to 8 am. Pretty unbothered because I have a game plan to leave the AC unit run all day that at least my second night ill be able to sleep properly. Now I know most places ask you to turn off your AC unit when you leave for the day, which is fine IF you have an actual unit that works and cools the room properly, not only after 12 hours. And IF its not consistently 40 degrees Celsius everyday. BUT after spending the entire day exploring cinque terre in 40 degree heat only to show up to my room expecting it to be 30 degrees instead (because again, not actual AC) only to find that the staff went in our room and turned off the unit. Absolutely unacceptable, the comfort of your guests should be the utmost importance and in 40 degree with a machine barely pumping out cool air, i did not sleep more than 6 hours over 2 nights. For 300$ a night I should be able to leave my unit on, I should be able to get 1 good nights rest. I DO NO RECOMMEND

If you pay extra for the sea-facing suites, the view is STUNNING. Everyone was friendly and very helpful, getting us set up to enjoy our time in 5T. The hotel is in Volastra, so you take a bus/shuttle approx 10 mins down to Manarola (or you can walk down for 30mins hike) where you can catch the train as needed. We were able to park our car and skip having to take our luggage on the train/up stairs to hotels right in 5T. Rated 4 instead of 5 because of the noise transfer in the hotel - you can hear just about everything your neighbours are doing, including what they’re up to in the washroom …
