This hotel was great because it is at the top of the hill and has parking. Also, Enrico was a great help with many helpful insights.

Great place to stay. Quiet. Enrico was an excellent host. We wished we had booked more than 2 nights since train travel up and down the coast is so smooth.

The staff - especially Enrico, was a gracious host. The room was spacious with enough useful furniture, as well as the bathroom. WiFi connection was an issue, but manageable. The breakfast was satisfactory. We especially liked having our own little patio with bistro table, chairs and umbrella outside our room. The downside - at least for us - were the flights of stairs to get to our room

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Loved the room..had a patio to sit outside our room to see sunset. Location was ok..everything is on hills. Breakfast was nice, not huge selection but fresh, not packaged. Made great capicino. Would definitely again. Thank you!!

We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend Hotel del Sole to all! The location is perfect - at the top of the main street in town. We were so close by but not in the middle of the action. The property is quiet, comfortable, and the service was outstanding. The owner was amazing and sat down with us to show us maps, helps us get discounted train & trail passes, plan our train times schedule and more. You can’t go wrong staying here - book now!

Enrico and Maria Dolores were exceptional hosts. Our room had a small patio with a view of the town and ocean, the room was clean and comfortable, and the amenities were of a higher standard than most comparably priced places. Because we were nearer to the top of the hill, our room was also quiet and full of light. What made our stay so exceptional, however, was how attentive Enrico and Maria Dolores were to our preferences. They responded to our requests and thought through to what else we might want or need. We highly recommend Hotel del Sole. The only caveat we would have is that Cinque Terre is challenging for anyone with mobility issues, and Hotel del Sole is higher up on the hill. The trade off is more hill to climb for more quiet, better views, and more light.

We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel del Sole. Enrico is the definition of hospitality. He was so helpful and welcoming. We weren’t just guests. We were family. 😊The place itself is nice, clean, and you get a delicious breakfast too. The great reviews are accurate. This is a wonderful stay in Riomaggiore. We definitely recommend.
