"Beautiful new property! Stayed for 2 nights in mid September and had a wonderful time. The staff were very helpful providing dining options in a near by town and checked in via WhatsApp to ensure our stay was running smoothly. Luna Arcos Hotel Nature & Spa

10/10 Excellent

"The Luna Arcos hotel is perfectly located near the centre of the village, which you reach via one of the delightful pedestrian bridges across the river. The hotel has plenty of parking and the check in was welcoming and very efficient. Our double room was spacious, nicely furnished and very comfortable. It also had a small balcony with table and chairs, which was nice. Breakfast takes the form of a buffet with a good selection of fresh fruits, cereals etc. There’s also hot food and whereas I enjoyed the bacon, sausage tomato etc, I have to say that the eggs were a bit hit and miss. For some reason on the first two mornings the egg dishes were not refreshed and were pretty awful. On our final morning however we had freshly cooked fried eggs and nicely cooked scrambled eggs - so all is forgiven. In short, this is an excellent hotel, in every way, and represents excellent value for money. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to coming back."

"A truly wonderful stay. The staff were warm, attentive, and always ready to help. The location was excellent, set within a wonderful winery setting that made the experience even more memorable. Being a working, family-owned winery gave the property a unique charm and authentic atmosphere. The accommodation itself was fabulous — comfortable, stylish, and beautifully maintained. Highly recommended and would gladly return."

"The staff was great every one of them. Breakfast was probably the best European style breakfast I ever had, with ala carte choices included. The building is a remodeled manor originally all stone. The new owner and the architects did a wonderful job restoring and modernizing the venue. The pool and spa are was nice as well and unexpected. Again, staff was great."

"We loved our stay at Peneda ecofarm. It is well located for walks in the National Park and only an hours drive from Porto's airport. There are several natural river pools to swim in with in a 30 minute drive of the accomodation. Which we were directed to by the owners. Our room was modern and fresh with a lovely balcony. The air conditioning was great for night time. The breakfast and evening meals were carefully prepared and delicious with fantastic local vino verde. The local town of Ponte Barca is ten minutes drive away and had some nice cafes and bars. We visited the beach at Viano do Castelo and enjoyed a walk around the old town. We had a lovely lazy day where we stayed at the accomodation and enjoyed the pool. I would definately visit this lovely accomodation and owner/ family again. "
