"Terrible! I paid $250 deposit. Staff said I would get it back with breakfast taken out of it. Still have not received my money back and it’s been 3 weeks!! Management will not call back! Will not stay here again. "

"The whole resort was sparkling clean, they have much to offer in amenities with several restaurant options, pools etc. We loved the location being close to so many fun activities, spring training games, hiking galore, shopping, etc! Our room was so comfortable! The housekeeping staff was exceptional, stopping daily with clean towels, glassware etc as needed! The only thing we needed that they don’t offer was guest laundry. I highly recommend Talking Stick as your Scottsdale/Phoenix area resort! "

"Comfortable safe great to be able to bring our dog, please refill doggie bags at stations weve stayed 3x and they are always empty.. don't want to leave a mess on grounds. We bring them now.. "

"This hotel was good. It was in a nice area (felt safe walking around for morning walks). The pool was clean and pretty large, and my kids really enjoyed spending time in it. The pool area also looks out over a mountain and nice landscaping which was pleasant. We never had to fight for pool chairs :). There were also a couple of entertainment things and hang out areas which my kids liked (ping pong, putting green, pool table, fire pit). Our room was large and fairly quiet, but we felt that the carpets could use a deep clean (our socks were filthy after walking around on it). We also felt that a “vacation club” should offer an on-site dining/bar option. I guess I had just assumed that the resort had that and was disappointed that it did not. Everything comes with trade-offs. Overall, it was a nice place."

"Location to golf, baseball and downtown Scottsdale was fantastic. Pool area was great. Would loved to have another option for food on site, but the pool bar food was fine for afternoons outside. Shower head a little outdated with crazy spray and low pressure. "

"Was a great and relaxing stay. The room was clean and taken care of daily. The pool areas and restaurant was well kept and the staff was amazing. Maria, the manager of the restaurant went above and beyond in resolving a small issue we had which made our stay even better!"

"This resort was amazing for a nice relaxing getaway. The surrounding areas and resort was beautiful and the staff were mostly all amazing too. We particularly enjoyed laying by the pool and being able to have pool side service. Gym amenities were great. Loved doing a yoga class there! Most importantly, we found a resort that’s truly pet friendly. Our dog was allowed to hang out with us by the pool and essentially everywhere but the gym and spa areas. He loved being able to stay with us and it put our mind at ease that he was allowed to and we didn’t have to be constantly worried about that. Overall great location and would for sure stay here again. The only areas of improvement I’d suggest would be there should be enough umbrellas at the pool for every 2 chairs. With how hot it gets, the umbrellas were a commodity and there weren’t enough a couple of the times we were looking for them. Similarly, at the Cielo, it would’ve been nice to have some tables outside with umbrella coverage too. The restaurant’s food and service left a little to be desired. For the price, the portion and flavor were a little disappointing. I ordered a breakfast egg white flatbread and it was sausage and bacon pizza with scrambled egg whites on the side. The salmon for dinner was small for the price. The food overall was underwhelming. That doesn’t dull the overall appeal of this resort for me though. I would just maybe get brunch elsewhere next time around. Looking forward to staying here again!"
