I hardly ever write reviews but I really feel that all the staff of this hotel needs a shout out. They were the kindest and nicest and more than happy to help all the time. From the front desk to the (amazing) breakfast lady to the cleaning lady. Hotel has parking (and trust me you need it) and the balcony with a view was great too. Great location as well.

From a convenience perspective, this was a great hotel. The beach and lidos were mere steps away and lots of dining options around. The breakfast buffet was amazing! I loved the fact it was available until 12noon. The reception staff was very friendly. The entrance wasn't easy to find, but it was nice to have free parking. The only drawback was the lack of power outlets in the room: there was only 1 outlet in the main sleeping area which isn't great when you're trying to plug your personal and medical devices overnight.

We had a wonderful 5 nights at this hotel. The staff were super helpful and friendly. Location is perfect, close to restaurants and beach. Breakfast was very good. The room, however, was quite dated. It could be improved with nicer, more modern decor and softer pillows.

Pros - Loved the location - perfect for the beach and restaurants, the parking was great and the breakfast was delicious. Cons - No tea or coffee facilities in the room, the room was a little dated and the bed was a little hard. The bathroom was a bit of a squeeze for the toilet - too close to the shower.

At the heart of Rimini’s nightlife, hotel Polo is a modern outfitted hotel with great staff and well equipped rooms. WiFi allows for remote work with sustained bandwidth and connection. Breakfast buffet is exemplary for the cost.

The property is dated and thus I believe not up to a 4 star standard. Weirdly the large room had nothing on the walls (paintings, etc.) which gave it the feeling of a college dorm room. The furniture in the room was dated and warn down. The several of the front desk staff were rude and unhelpful. We asked for food recommendations and they did not help at all nor did they help us order a taxi to the hotel. I would avoid this hotel and book one of the numerous other establishments in Rimini.

They downgraded me with a room in an other hotel
Polo Hotel was closed and they gave me a room in an other hotel (Ambasciatori). The room was smaller, single one single bed instead of the double. There was a problem with the room lights, it wasn't possible to turn them off if not with the main switch that was killing all the electricity of the room. In the bathroom there was a bad smell. I choose Hotel Polo because there was a parking included, at Ambasciatori I had to pay extra 10€ to park my car. The feeling was about a total downgrade.

A slightly worn down coastal hotel, could do some refurbishing. Location is good: very close to the beach. Parking is available either on the street or at the hotel (hotel charges 15 eur fee). Staff is nice and welcoming. Breakfast was nice, good choice of food, but nothing special.

Good accommodation
We visited at this area in off-peak season. Not too crowded. We could enjoy the atmosphere at the nice restaurant nearby. I don’t know how busy the summer season would be. The room was classic and spacious but the wall was so thin. We could hear someone next door talk about something.

I liked the gorgeous breakfast whixh was available unyil midday and it was full of choices. Rhey have beach towels available for free. I didn't like the rooms being noisy (we tried 2 dicferent rooms, both had same issues), although they say on the card they are soundproof this is not true as you can hear people laughing, talking and even flushing toilets (the pipes run through the walls from the rooms above).

Only one thing to mention, the parking charges. 15 euro's a night was a bit steep. Apart from that, 100% cracking hotel, and right in the middle of things.

Amazing breakfast, variety of foods, no wait at all, 7-12 can come ear anytime. Breakfast staff very friendly. Location is next to the beach and next to shopping and restaurants. Good fast bar/restaurant very reasonable prices just outside of the main entrance.

I booked this hotel in order to visit both Rimini and the near San Marino. My wife and I arrived on a rainy day on May 12, 2019, after our transatlantic cruise from New York city to Civitavveccha, Italy. The hotel was reasonably close from the railway station for about 10-minute walk (though we took a taxi for 10 euros due to the rainy day. The hotel staff was extremely professional and well-mannered, speaking good English. What most impressed me was the fact that the hotel provides free umbrellas for the rainy day, without which our visits to Rimini and San Marinio would have been frustrated. Thank and grazie mille, Hotel Polo, from the bottom of our hearts.

Wi-Fi was only in lobby, in rooms is not working. Sheets and blankets not sized together. Shower gel and shampoo in packets, it's really hard to open it. Furniture and shower not new and corded.

Staff were rude a couple of times. Also, we received an unexpected bill for tourist tax that we had no previous notification of from Expedia or the hotel.

A decent stay
Freindly staff, good breakfast, good location, moderate cleanliness, bad WiFi in the room. Booked a triple room of 22 square meters, received a double room + extra bed (smaller) of 16 square meters. Staff was reactive when I announced them about the room but their offer (after 1 respectively 2 nights) was inacceptable form other points of vue. Anyway it seems they do not know the difference between a triple room and a double room + extra bed. Or do they?

Nice beachside hotel
Although we are unlikely to return to Rimini, we would return for convenient and reasonably priced beach-side hotel. Many restaurants right out the door. Nice breakfast at hotel.

It ain't half hot
Overall good value but they refused to turn in the air con in late April and temperature was in the mid 20s C. I know this isn't hot by Italian weather but us Brits were a little uncomfortable without the ventilation. We acvepted tge offer of a fan but it wasnt delivered despite a reminder. We opened the balcony door but the road/bar/restaurant arnt exactly quiet. Shame but otherwise a good option in all respects.
