Très dépaysant comme hébergement... on débarque dans une commune des années 60, peace & love! Personnel accueillant, les espaces communautaires sont très hippie mais la chambre est toute neuve, avec sa salle de bain privée.

A unique spot on our Ring Road travels - you have to experience it. Excellent location, newly renovated rooms, along with existing large lounging and kitchen areas. The sense of history and community permeates through those walls.

It was very clean and check in instructions were clear. It would be nice to have towels included but understandable as a hostel. We wish there was an after hours machine to rent towels. Breakfast was good for the area.

The freezer es el mejor lugar para terminar el viaje. Llevamos 10 días de roadtrip y fue una grata sorpresa llegar al cuarto que reservamos con el baño privado. Pudimos descansar perfecto y el staff es muy amigable. Regresaría para el próximo roadtrip.

Staff were friendly and facilities sufficient. Very eclectic atmosphere and could do we a facelift in my opinion. Room and bathroom were clean but small. Felt that it was very expensive for what it was and there were additional charges for everything. Even a cup of coffee is chargeable.

Fun place to stay with great kitchen for preparing meals. Some issues regarding wheelchair access- there is a step to enter the building and then a large threshold at the doorway. There is another doorway to enter, but it needs to be opened by staff from the inside (this door also had a small lip). It would be great if this could become the main entrance. The main lounge and bar area can only be accessed via a large step- would be great if the owners could add a ramp to this area. The room was quite small but manageable for a small wheelchair. There were a few hooks, but otherwise no place to put anything. For better wheelchair access, remove the glass panel between the shower and toilet to allow for more turning space. The property did not have a plastic chair to use in the shower. Manager Claudia was fantastic and so helpful- she made our stay so memorable! With a few changes this property could be accessible to more people.

Very cool place! The interior is very spacious with multiple sections, including 2 kitchens. Lots of places to sit and lounge, or play or socialize or be productive. The host that night was a very pleasant gentleman who injected some extra character into the space. The main lounging and bar area is very cool and it looks like they have events there regularly, but unfortunately not while we were there (1 night). 2 of us stayed in a triple room (ended up being cheaper than another option) and it was great with good accessible outlets, good blackout curtains, a sink in the room, and keypad entry. Breakfast was included and yummy. Very interesting area in the peninsula as well -- I would absolutely come back to stay here.

Fantastic place for the money! Quick checkin, well equipped kitchen had free food left behind by previous travelers, and comfy rooms. I lucked out and was present for an Àsgeir (one of Icelands top Pop Artists) concert in the main room from 9-11pm. My only complaint was that staff kept music going until 2am, for whatever reason. At least they have earplugs at the front desk?
