SCAM!

On arrival I was told that there had been problem with my credit card when I booked so I will have to pay cash!!! This was news to me???!!! The paper work that was presented to me by the manager showed a credit card number on that was not mine! Luckily I have my banking app and hotels.com app on my phone, I showed him my credit card statement showing that the payment went through to hotels.com on 10th November and I showed him my booking on the hotels.com app showing that I had paid in full. All he kept on about was that he would get into trouble with his boss if I don't pay. He blamed hotels.com and said that it was my problem to sort out. I refused to pay again and told him that I feel it is a scam to get more money from me. This was not a very enjoyable stay as all I was worried about was trying to get online to prove that I had paid. I tried phoning hotels.com on 021 427 7796 but you cannot speak to anyone or e mail anyone!!!! I will never be returning to Ruby Rose and unless someone from hotels.com contacts me I will never be using them again either !

heavenly!

Wish we had more time at this amazing place than one night! beautiful garden, the rooms are amazing, the interior and architecture is so nice. Everything feels exclusive and yet very relaxed. Nice pool and lovely breakfast. the staff was super friendly too. We are definately coming back here, would like to visit the winecountry that surrounds this place.
