"Hotel is welcoming of pets but dog friendly rooms are on the second floor or above and there's no lift so it's a trek during the night to take your dog downstairs to do it's business."
"The Buck Inn is well positioned for the centre of town without being too busy. The room we booked was already occupied when we arrived so we were allocated a small family room (1x double + 1 single divan). There was no wardrobe just a short metal rack on the wall positioned over an electric radiator. The hand basin was in the bedroom and the en suite loo/shower room did not have a functioning extractor fan. The kettle was on the window sill behind the curtain which was not ideal.
Breakfast was well cooked and the cafetière coffee was good. Parking was on the street in a zoned area limiting time to 2 hours parking between 8am and 6pm Monday to Saturday and we were given a parking disc to display on the dash when we checked in.

"Only pet friendly in some areas
Sticky surfaces on some bar tables. Apparently’nothing can be done about this’!
Unique residential Inn that feels rather like a youth hostel. With a bit of effort could be superb "
"The rooms and bathrooms are lovely and big. Bed was extremely comfortable. Ample parking. Amazing evening meal and breakfast which was cooked fresh to order with waitress table service. The highlight was the hotel team, particularly Christine who was extremely helpful with every aspect of my stay. Very many thanks. Katie"
