"Overall we enjoyed our stay in Fes. The riad makes a great first impression—the courtyard is beautiful, and the rooftop has great views and is a really nice spot for breakfast. Our room on the main level wasn’t ideal. The windows opened straight into the lobby, so it didn’t feel very private, and we could hear a lot of conversation through the vents (and assumed the same the other way). The bathroom also had some issues. The shower wasn’t really usable without water spraying everywhere, and the space isn’t set up well for that. The staff were friendly and helpful overall. That said, some of the upselling felt a bit deceptive, which took away slightly from the experience."

"This place was simply fantastic. The lobby and my room were simply breathtakingly gorgeous. Some other reviews mention having had issues with rude staff but I had no such problems and was very pleased with every employee I encountered. I also took advantage of the hamman and massage and would highly recommend it. Lastly, the rooftop dining area offers a nice view and the breakfast is quite good. I would definitely stay here again."

"Staff were attentive and friendly, breakfast was great, everything was pristinely clean and the room was beautiful. We were sad to leave! The Riad is on the edge of the medina which means it is quiet, but it is worth contacting the Riad when you first arrive, especially if it’s night time, to meet you at the nearest gate. They’re very happy to help! "

"Great gym, room was dated, curtains didn't work, and there was sitting water on the balcony that made the smell terrible. The fragrance they pump in the lobby is extremely overpowering, if have to hold my breath or I would sneeze. Breakfast was great and staff we very nice!"

"Pros- rooms are clean, riad is magnificent and beautiful, the staff is wonderful & kind. Cons- the Medina in Fes is a hard one to navigate making one wrong turn literally add to the complication. While it is only five minutes from the gate, that is five minutes if you already know the streets. As a solo traveler, it’s really important for me to able to move with some degree of ease. I’m not expecting second nature but nothing should be this hard. There were also a few instances that the communication I thought was clear was indeed not leaving me to navigate to the riad at midnight alone. Not impossible but not ideal. Overall though, the accommodations are beautiful, the room was clean and inviting, and the staff was great "
