Wow! What an incredible place to stay for our first visit to Iceland! I will absolutely stay here again! It is in the most perfect location…walkable to everything! The decor is clean and modern, yet perfectly cozy for when you come back from a cold hike and want to relax. The beds were comfortable with crisp, clean sheets. The bathrooms were spotless and spacious. I can’t say enough about this charming, beautiful place! Thank you for an incredible stay!

Beautiful and convenient, this apartment is in the heart of Reykjavik - a short walk from all the sites. 3 large bedrooms and two full baths / a rarity in Iceland! Fully equipped kitchen and a banquet table dining space make it perfect for a family or group. Parking is on site but if you are bringing a bigger vehicle, bring patience as well as the driveway and parking spots can be tight if the houses are full. We got super lucky and saw the aurora borealis right above the house!

This property is literally in the middle of it all! You simply cannot find a better location in Reykjavik, and the house is so charming and perfect. The hosts were very accommodating and we had a fantastic stay. Highly recommend.

Property was centrally located with plenty of stores and restaurants around. The instructions were clear and easy and the apartment was clean and well set up. Only 1 bathroom for 5 people but not a problem for the one night. I would definitely stay there again.

Beautiful apartment in the middle of Reykjavik
Beautiful property! Had all the amenities, along with free parking in back. Outside noise was a little loud with people outside being boisterous, but it was a Saturday evening and theres a restaurant/bar right across the street. Wonderful apartment! Beautifully laid out with 3 bedrooms, separated dining room/kitchen, living room. Well stocked kitchen with cooking condiments. Will definitely be back!!

We arrived on Nordic culture day on which the streets are closed to traffic and half of Iceland comes to Reykjavik. This was a great location from which to explore and had everything (short of perhaps soap) we needed. Great for family (we were 6).

Great location and excellent communication from the host. We absolutely loved Reykjavik and the proximity of the apartment to the downtown area. It is such a friendly, safe, walkable area with great restaurants and shops. We stayed in both the downstairs and upstairs apartments and preferred the upstairs as it seemed both larger & a bit quieter.

We stayed here our last night after turning in our Campervan. Because we didn’t have a car, the apartment was located close to the BEST shopping snd dining areas! My bed was super comfortable. The next day, management held my luggage while we spent the day in Reykjavik. And it was a short walk to the bus stop, which took us to the bus station and then transferred to the FlyBus, next to the airport. Highly recommend this place!!!!

Amazing 2bedroom apt in perfect location
Wow. Perfect location! (used bus stop#14-right by bakery)or Kex for pickups-kex has covering on rainy days) Best apt ever. 2 bedroom (full, single). Apt can fit 3 on pull out couch. Living room has door too so very private. Kitchen had everything you needed to cook and eat and drink. We couldn’t figure out how to use oven but we didn’t need it. Beds were very comfortable. Heating could be adjusted in every single room. Windows in every room. We didn’t use balcony but it had small table and 2 chairs. Blackout curtains were great but we always had windows open so light was coming in. Communication with apt host was very easy and she was very friendly. Only negative to apt was small shower. If you are a larger person you will not fit. Also water is warm but not really hot. Bathroom is great size. I would 100% be staying here during next visit.

This property is in an excellent location in regard to taking advantage of the walkability of Reykjavik. It is also very close to Bus Stop 14 for pick-up and drop-off for excursions. It is quaint and clean and the owner is invested in making sure you enjoy your stay. The only downside with this apartment is the noise of tenants above. Anything dropped or slid across the floor echoes, and footsteps from tenants are amplified, day and night.

An excellent apartment -- clean, good-looking, spacious, and in a great location. The only negative was that check-in was a bit confusing -- there are two lockboxes on the building, and we spent a while trying in vain to open the wrong one, and after this were briefly thwarted by a door behind a door. After this initial hiccup, our stay was great!

We loved our Old Charm apartment. We stayed in the black house "Sund" for two nights. Plenty of room--a downstairs with a queen, and two upstairs bedrooms--one with two beds and one with one bed. Watch for the low ceiling on your way upstairs. The kitchen was small but clean and modern. The bathroom was clean and modern and we especially loved the towel heater. The living area was spacious. The location was just one street over from the busiest shopping and dining area which made it a little quieter. The included parking spot was a tight squeeze but so convenient. It really was charming with plenty of modern touches.
