4/5 Cleanliness - Generally very clean and tidy, but some of the cookwares had leftovers. 3/5 Communication - Contactless throughout, emails from the guesthouse provided all necessary info before you checked in. Communication was efficient but no service provided effectively. We couldn’t find the on-site manager in our 8-day stay. 4/5 Room Condition - Very nice. New. Some mechanics noise from time to time. 5/5 Location - Perfect location. Popular day tour gathering points and public bus stops nearby (2mins walk), restaurants of different prices and a 24/7 convenient store just downstairs, safe, just 5-10mins walk to the rainbow street & church.

The property was very nice and clean. We had a problem with our check in, which was very frustrating at the time. They did give me a partial refund for receiving a down graded room. It was still nice, but the confusion at check in was very inconvenient. They did respond to my concerns.

Great apartment complex in the city center. Just a few walking minutes away from all major shops & restaurants. Great kitchen & bathroom. The beds were very comfy. Overall it was very good value for money. Some people complained about the self check-in which was very easy & smooth for us. Would stay here again!

Very nice apartment in a great location. Comfortable bed, clean unit and good consistent Wi-Fi. No front desk or human presence and communication entirely via email, with prompt response. Very satisfied and wonderful stay. Highly recommend. Thank you.

This was our least favorite place that we stayed in Iceland. The hallways smelled funky, kind of like a grandma’s closet. The in-room guide said that we could request a complimentary refill of coffee but when we asked they said would not provide any. They do not have onsite parking which was unclear when we booked our hotel room. This was the least hospitable hotel that we stayed in.

Absolutely amazing place to stay. I spent 3 nights as a solo traveller - felt safe, it was very conveniently located near bus stop #9 for all my tours, and there was a convenience store and restaurants just across the street. The room was spotless, the bed and pillows were very comfortable and having a kitchen in the suite really helped. I would there again.

The building and rooms were clean and cozy, we enough space to be comfortable. I would maybe skip on the breakfast, it was just a breadbun and croissant per person, and a slice of cheese, butter and small marmalede/jam. There is also no coffee machine, a part from a nespresso. So we were happy to have brought coffee bags. But the location is great, everything was walking distance, and just in general happy to have stayed in Hlemmur suites. :) thumps up.
