I liked the property very match. I rarely find properties which has everything I need. The kitchenette was so useful. Amenities wise it was awesome. Loved it. The only part which could have been better is the checkin insyructions by Hotels.com. Hotels.com didn't forward me the proper check-in information so I had to call the property late at night and incurred some roaming costs.

The location was a little more than a short walk to the city center. The room was updated and had a wonderful kitchenette with a dishwasher! The bathroom was spacious. The parking issue was confusing and troubling. There is a closed business (assumed to be a former restuarant) on the first floor. There are parking around the exterior of building that was used by all the neighborhood. I assume in the past, it was reserved parking for the business. This left a small parking area around the back side of the business for parking. While they indicate private parking, it is not assured there are sufficient parking spots available. The second issue to be aware of is the passcode to enter the building that is sent to you before arrival is not correct. You must call a number and await a person to come and let you in and provide a room key. This is troubling especially if arriving after hours. It worked, but one needs to be aware of this previously reported issue and plan accordingly. Other than the parking and entry concerns, it is a great value and wonderful place to stay in Iceland, provided you have transportation. I would highly recommend it with these caveats.

Great communications prior to check-in. The property is very nicely designed and everything works perfectly. There are a couple of cafés around, which makes it super convenient to have an early start. The city center is walking distance away and the city has lots to offer. We were informed by email a good 3 hours before check-in that we were in a different hotel. This hotel was a good mile away from downtown. Room was right to the street. Music and Cars could be heard outside at night. The room was well equipped and also very comfortable.

Nice place to stay. Bed was comfy. Kitchen was fine. Cheking in and out was easy. Toilet doors should be renovaited, that there would be more privacy. There was no coat racks, I highly recomment to set up thouse on the wall next to door. Peaceful environment and short walks aroud city.

The hotel itself is great: Clean, convenient, and lovely. The check-in instructions were very confusing. I received multiple different entry codes for the building over the phone and by email, and the email instructions did not match what was written on an instructions page inside the building. Great location in central Reykjavik, just a short walk to the city centre. Property was pretty clean, although the windows were dirty. Black out blinds for mid summer would have been beneficial. Don’t know why so many hotels have glass doors to the bathroom!!! Just don’t get it!!

We stayed here for 8 nights, the communication with the owners was not great, because we booked through expedia they didn't send us the right code to enter the building, so we had to call the phone number on the door, but if we wouldn't be able to call them then I'm not sure how we would have gotten the right code. Regardless that hassle, the parking was always available, if the front parking lot is full we just parked on the street, the room was nice and clean, with room service every day. overall for the price its a very nice place, with all utensils one would need, including a refrigerator, dish washer, stovetop, and oven in our unit, i would go back to this hotel.

Check in was not great - I didn’t get sent the correct code and had to keep calling the number in the door. Once I was connected the person was super helpful but I had not been given the door code or my code to get the room key!
