Will return!

Oustanding hotel in great in great location. 15 minute walk along the river into chamonix. Convieniently situated between two lifts. Fantastic views of the mountains from patio.

En couple

C'est un petit coin de paradis ! Nous avons tout simplement adoré cet havre de paix, dans un cadre réellement magnifique et sommes revenus pour la 2ème fois cette année, tout aussi ravis que l'an dernier. Tout y est ... l'appartement parfaitement propre, très bien équipé, un personnel adorable, un confort extraordinaire, une piscine géniale ouverte dès 7h jusqu'à 22h avec une vue superbe sur la mer de glace et le Mont Blanc. Toujours aussi tristes de devoir quitter notre coin de paradis chez Hapimag !

Il est possible de vivre comme à la maison avec tous le nécessaire et profiter des structures misent à disposition. Pratiquer rando et course à pied prés de l'hotel sans utiliser la voiture.

Perfekt hotell för några dagars vistelse i alperna, underbart läge med 20 -25 min promenad in till Chamonix centrum. Fina lägenheter med nytt kök ( i alla fall vår lägenhet) fräscht badrum, sängarna lite hårda i madrassen. Kan varnt rekommendera, trevlig personal, som visar och ger tips på både sevärdheter och aktiviteter. Både fri parkering och fri WiFi. Olika aktiviteter till barnen förutom inomhuspool är badminton (man får låna raket och bollar), pingis och biljard inomhus kostar några Euro att löra. Det finns möjlighet till att tvätta och torktumla sina kläder i tvättstugan. Tips att äta frukost på sitt rum och beställa färskt bröd som man beställer kvällen innan kl 19 med vilka sorter och hur många man önskar och sedan bara hämta upp på morgonen. Vi provade en frukost men vi var ensamma i restaurangen och för 9,50 Euro per person så blir det väldigt dyrt i jämförelse att köpa egen frukost minus bröd som vi beställde på hotellet. Hit kommer vi resa även på vintern och åka skidor med barnen när de blir lite äldre.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The room was very comfortable with plenty of space. The kitchen's are well stocked making self catering very easy. The only downside was it was a little far away from the centre of town nevertheless it is only a 15 minute walk next to a stream so cant really complain. Also convenient location for buses to Ski field. Staff very friendly. We would stay here again.

Residence La Cordee in Chamonix

I have just returned from a 2 night weekend break, we stayed in a one bedroom apartment with wonderful views of Mont Blanc. The apartment was very spacious. Great Nespresso coffee machine, buy the capsules from reception. A lovely walk along the river in to Chamonix (15 mins). Nice pool although felt a little overdressed in my swimming costume in the sauna!

Best value for money accommodation in chamonix

Excellent accommodation wonderful location but still a close walk to chamonix. Loved it!

Résidence La Cordée - quiet and convenient.

The hotel was a bit further away from the center of Chamonix than I excpected. But the communications were good, and it was an easy and pretty walk along the river to get there. It would be perfect for travelling with children, the place was neat, clean and the apartments bigger than I´d thought. There are good cooking possibilities as well, and you can get fresh bread there in the morning. The bartenders knew how to mix a good drink, but if I go there again, which I very well might, I'll stay away from dinner in the restaurant.

Lovely Apartment style hotel

Lovely big apartment style room with 2 sofas, kitchen area complete with kitchen table. About a 10 minute walk along the river into Chamonix itself, staff helpful on reception. My only complaint is we had a travel cot for our 3 month old baby - when we unpacked it there was a rip in the cotside, I didn't mention it to reception as it was late when we arrived and only for 2 nights and also as our daughter is only 3 months old it wouldn't affect her. When we returned home from our 2 week trip we discovered the hotel has charged us 45 euros for damage to the cot! Any damage to anything when you arrive - report it immediately! The hotel has recieved a very terse email from us regarding this matter

Excellent pour un séjour de quelques jours à la neige. Très propre, à 15' à pied du centre de Chamonix, bien desservi par les bus. Vraiment rien à dire.

La résidence La Cordée HAPIMAG était tout simplement parfait ! Nous ne nous attendions pas à quelque chose d'aussi beau et luxieux : Lieu, résidence, appartement, paysages autour magnifiques ! A 5 minutes de Chamonix en voiture, donc très accessible, tout en restant un vrai havre de paix. Tout était neuf dans l'appartement, la cuisine très bien équipée (c'est rare de voir une telle propreté) et la vue du balcon était à couper le souffle. Superbe piscine intérieure. Un lieu parfait pour se détendre après avoir participé dans la course de l'UTMB !

Hyvin harvoin, jos koskaan, olen päässyt yhtä hyvin hoidettuun hotelliin. Kaikki tilat olivat 100% siistejä, kauniisti sisustettuja ja hoidettuja! Huoneisto oli hyvin tilava kaksio, hyvine ruokailuvälineineen. Kylpylä uima-altaineen ja saunoineen näytti hohtavan kuin uusi. Palvelu oli erinomaisen ystävällistä. Hotellin sijainti vajaan parin kilometrin päässä keskustasta ei meille ollut ongelma, nautimme kovasti kävelystä hienoa valaistua ulkoilureittiä puron vartta pitkin. Hiihtovarusteiden kanssa toki käytimme bussia, joka Chamonixissa on ilmainen hotellien asukkaille.

Nice appartment hotel close to skiing lifts

If found the Résidence La Cordée (HAPIMAG) a very nice hotel beautifully situated in the Chamonix valley. If your main purpose is to ski you have a 5 min walk to the bus which takes you either to La Praz or Les Grandes Montes. The latter being by far the best site late in the season. Walking to Chamonix center is a 10-15 min trip that you may do along side the river close by. Staff service was very good.

La cordée : un lieu apaisant après une journée de ski.

Appartement parfait, spacieux, propre, vraiment rien à dire. Pour les amateurs de café, prévoir des capsules de Nespresso, Des machines sont dans tous les appartements, sinon il est possible d'avoir des cafetières traditionnelles à la réception. Prévoir également un petit plein alimentaire même si le frigo n'est pas fort grand. Piscine et sauna fort agréable après une journée de ski!!

Good Value Modern Apartments in Chamonix Les Praz with POOL!

Great place to stay for skiing in Chamonix. Still need to walk/ bus to the lifts, but good value peak season - modern apartments not cramped like normal french apartments - fresh bread/ nespresso machines to make your own breakfast in the morning, good facilities incl pool, great views of the mountains in all directions. Rooms a little cold but not a problem if you turn the heating on.

value for money

having a self contained apartment was certainly value for money at this hotel and in this town. Though it is a short walk out of Chamonix main town (which was expected) there is a bus route right near by and the walk in along the river is nice anyway, though a little icy in winter. Our one bedroom apartment was excellent, it had all necessary kitchen tools, including microwave and dishwasher. It was clean and comfortable. the only compliant is that our bathroom smelt as if someone had smoked in it previously, made worse when using the fan, though our room was smoke free. possibly a past guests' laziness to not follow rules. The staff were extremely helpful and the facilities of the complex we excellent. highly recommended.

Hôtel agréable et bien placé

Hôtel au calme mais situé à 10 minutes à pied du centre de Chamonix. Certaines chambres ont une vue magnifique sur le Mont Blanc et l'aiguille du midi. Elles sont grandes et confortables. Il est cependant à noter que la clientèle est très majoritairement allemande.

Hotel LaCordé liegt abseits vom Trubel&Verkehr von Chamonix, welches aber gut zu Fuss erreichbar is

einzige min-pkte: check out um 10h etwas früh. Sauna nur von 17-21h

Incredible views and great rooms

We reserved a 'hotel room' but as other reviews said, it was actually a large one bedroom apartment. All, or most, of rooms have great view of surrounding Alps from private balcony. Kitchen was functional with utinsels and cookware. Room and hotel premises very clean. Almost always someone at front desk who spoke English. Hotel was a 2km walk from downtown Chamonix but walk was along river on walking path. We would definitely go back.
