"More of an air b&b situation with a self check in. Fabulous for self sufficient people. The hosts left notes, a list of local restaurants, and a number to text if we needed things. Clean and kitchy, like staying at your grandparents place. Very cozy and comfy. We hope to come back. "

"Such a beautiful place to stay in Crescent City California. The hotel staff was friendly and accommodated all of our needs. The kids loved swimming in the indoor heated pool and taking a walk on the beach. The sunset from the room was amazing. I was worried about the reviews I read on hotels.com but we had a really good experience. There was 5 of us, 2 adults and 3 children. The room was just right and we felt very comfortable. My son is special needs and we worried about safety with the balcony, but the door had a screw at the bottom that secures the slider. The only thing we couldn’t get to work was the jets in our tub but other than that, it was a great stay. Thank you Oceanfront Lodge. Hope to see you all soon! "
