"Amazing stay, even extended twice. The service is second to none, everything is no problem. From the amazing view of the sea to all the varied wildlife in the grounds, posse of monkeys visit every day drinking from the pool and generally being monkeys to peacocks, a mongoose, frogs, all the birds. Nick the owner is a friendly chap and clearly set the ethos of this place and is always around to help if needed. Kalpa and Umesh (managers) are great, absolute credit to the place. Can’t say a bad word, if we are back to Sri Lanka then a visit here will be on the cards again. We had 2 rooms, both great, outdoor showers, very clean, air con, amazing views over the lagoon, comfy beds. Best place we stayed in Sri Lanka, only left as we had plans. The beach is 2 min walk away past all the hermit crabs, we saw baby turtles going into the sea one evening just before they close the beach due to conservation. We then went another night with the turtle conservation next door and witnessed a turtle laying eggs. This place has it all."

"The property is wonderful with a great facilities!!! The villa was very clean, sofa bed was ready and the bed was very comfortable. AC or fan is in the rooms which is I founded very convenient. Beach towels are provided, so you don’t have to take from home. Bathroom is very clean, plenty of branded toiletries (smells amazing). I was missing a shower cap only (if you don’t want to get your hair wet under the shower, as sometimes you have to take few during the day). Towels are fresh and soft, feels like in the Spa. Pool area is spectacular!!! Most of the time we had it to ourselves. Restaurant is very cosy and inviting. Our breakfast was included in the price. The food was delicious. I would say that 4 pieces of toast for 3 people is not enough. I would recommend to have at least 2 toast per person and would be great to have a glass of fresh juice too. We have used restaurant for dinner and a lunch; good choice of meals (western) and few local options available. The staff is helpful and trying to accommodate every need. I would highly recommend this villa to my friends!!! The views are pictures!!!"

"This is truly a lovely hotel, with a great pool and beach front. Rooms are spacious and comfortable and grounds are very well maintained. Entrance feels grand and welcome us very warm. Great kids club. Would definitely return if I had the opportunity. Only minus I experienced was the upselling (day trips, spa treatments) during breakfast. While this may work well with some of the clientele, I found this quite annoying."

"Overall stay was good. However, the bathrooms are visible inside the room. Not recommended for a family to stay inside the room. I kindly suggest to put up curtains or a blurred glass to have privacy. Also, the balconies are connected to each room with a sliding door which is kind of unnecessary i feel. If it can be locked then it's manageable. But in our case the sliding doors could not be locked. The breakfast was superb. Had plenty of varieties. For lunch we had nasi goreng and it was alright. But can be improved by replacing normal rice with basmati or jasmine. The plates for lunch had a bumpy design in the middle which gives you the feeling that the qty is quite big but it's the opposite. I recommend the plates to be changed. The service and staff are really good and friendly. If the above concerns are improved i wouldn't mind visiting again."
