"Pretty much every hotel in Tunisia is rundown and older. This one is clean, but in general facilities are not very good. Pool was nice, but no staff available to help with towels and no one taking orders for drinks which I finally ridiculous for a supposedly five star hotel. Also, any five star hotel should have wireless in the room rooms in this room does not. There is wireless in the reception area. Large buffet, but really for the size of it. Food was not all that great. Location is good....

"The pool was freezing cold. The space in the room was super small and there was hardly any lights. The shower water was only slightly warm. The room needs some serious maintenance: door was squeaky and near breaking. Some of the walls plaster was coming off. Finally the Dar was really hard to find, hidden in a dark corner of the medina with no signs outside. The dar overall is nice but the rooms are overcharged for what you get. Breakfast is the same as usual across Tunisia. "
