"This was my third time staying at the Bellmoor Inn. I was looking forward to staying there during the summer months with my husband. The inn was clean, the staff friendly, and the complimentary breakfast was delicious. Although we enjoyed our stay, there were a few hiccups. First hiccup: I had reserved a room in the garden area, but I did not feel comfortable being on the first floor opening to the outside. After expressing my concerns to the reception staff, we were offered a room in the main inn. I was told we would have to wait for the room to be cleaned. My husband and I waited at the pool, but after two hours, I spoke with the reception staff again (it was a different person). Apparently, the new staff was not aware of the room switch. After waiting a bit longer, we were finally put in a nice suite. Second hiccup: After coming back from the beach, we tried to go to our room but noticed the door pried open with a towel. We figured the cleaning staff were still working on our room, so we went to the garden area to enjoy the beautiful greenery. After waiting about an hour, we went back to our room to find the door still pried open. The cleaning staff must have accidentally left our door open after cleaning the room. We were not sure how long the door had been open. Fortunately, nothing in our room had been taken. We notified the reception staff about the incident. They were very apologetic.
Overall, we enjoyed our time at the Bellmoor and appreciated the location."
