"This is my second stay at the Huntington. My first stay was very disappointing but I decided to give it a second chance because the location is so great. I am glad I did. This 4 day stay was much better! When we first arrived we checked in with a young irish man who was very fun. The room we stayed in was a loft room which wasclean quiet and really spacious. It does get warm in the loft. They could use a fan up there. Hot air rises! They also could use a table or something for clothes and suitcases but the ironing board came in handy so you did not have your clothes on the ground. Breakfast was good, basic, except the staff there felt like hawks circling around watching eveything you touch. They take your plate as soon as you are done like they are wanting you to leave. Quite uncomfortable and they need to learn how to smile when at work or find another job that does not deal with people. Overall a much better second stay thank you."

"Every interaction with staff was pleasant and professional, but we didn’t have to talk to them much as the hotel was set up so well, and the room was stocked with consumables! Easy walking distance to everything in Victoria! "

"We recently stayed here for two nights during our travels. We stayed in many hotels ranging from $200 to $1000 per night, but this hotel truly stands out. It has a classic boutique interior and the cleanliness is absolutely spot on. I have honestly never seen a bathroom that clean. The staff were amazing and very helpful. The rooms are spacious and have everything you need to make your stay comfortable. The location is also perfect—within walking distance of restaurants, the downtown core, and many activities. We would definitely stay here again."

"Our room bordered on opulent with all the incredible furnishings and we very much appreciated being given a main floor room. Large rooms, tall ceilings. Hot breakfast with a superb fruit parfait starter were superb. The staff are very welcoming. On a lesser note, cable TV offerings were very limited for those interested in such and the bath room which was large, clean and delightfully finished (but without a step-in shower), had a large, set back (built in) jacuzzi tub that was and will be a real challenge for anyone with any mobility issues (both my wife and me). Steps and/or grab bars would be a good safety addition."
