Convenient & good

Close to old town which is where the action Is around Carnival. Nothing much around it but better that further south. It’s right at Marina if you are a boater.

Almost there

Very nice hotel with lots of potential. I think it may be new and there are small amounts of professionalism and quality lacking. For instance I asked many times for small things in the room (more coffee pods or water) and staff forgot. The room service was slow. Only the front desk speak any language other than Portuguese and so it's challenging to order food as a foreigner without intermediate Portuguese.

Staff are friendly, place looks nice, but...

Building is about a year old and staff work hard to satisfy your expectations. We felt like being such a new building it could be better maintained. First we notice black mold in the shower, then notice it on the outside furniture. They use furniture that's not supposed to get wet and leave it out in the pouring rain then gets moldy. Lots of this around the pool area and balconies. Shower has no ventilation so mold accrues in the grout easily. Also they did not offer free breakfast if you book through hotels.com/expedia, which was literally the only hotel in all of Brazil that we had to pay (a lot extra) for breakfast, this took us by surprise. The Marina has lots of garbage floating in it constantly. This place could be a true gem in the city if they'd just maintain it better. The bridge to Marco Zero was closed so the area is not currently walkable. Uber or Taxi is all that's safe to get around the local area. Overall we'd stay here again if we got a good rate.

La estancia fue buena, no estupenda. El personal de recepcion no habla ingles. Ahora en vez de tarjetas dan unas pulseras de goma donde los huespedes parecen marcados como animales, son incomodas y te hacen firmar por ellas como si fueras un delincuente. Deberian ser opcionales

As opções poderiam serem melhor elaboradas do café da manhã. Barman muito bom e prestativo. Apartamento suíte apertado, até parece que a varanda é maior que o quarto. A porta aberta do WC para fora impede trânsito. Não tinha cofre para joias e dinheiro etc

Quando cheguei no Hotel me deram um quarto de acessibilidade com uma cama pequena, baixa e um banheiro horrível, além de ser totalmente poente! Não aceitei o quarto pois tinha pago uma diária de quarto superior! A orientação que me deram foi reclamar junto ao aplicativo, pois não poderiam fazer nada! Não me hospedei no hotel e fui embora para casa! Todos os meus amigos ficaram no hotel e eu não tive condições de estar junto deles devido ao quarto oferecido! Não recomendo esse hotel!

Novotel Marina Recife está localizado no cais de Santa Rita, centro da cidade, às margens do Rio Capibaribe, com vista para o mar. Faz parte de um complexo com marina e expo center (do outro lado da rua). Pontos positivos: 1. quarto com varanda, muito confortável, com vista para o rio e o mar - não recomendo os quartos com vista para a rua/cidade. 2. Café da manhã muito bom, com grande variedade, servido no belo restaurante do andar térreo. 3. Na cobertura há piscina de borda infinita, gym, bar com comidinhas e amplo ambiente de estar. E a vista é incrível. É, certamente, o local mais agradável do hotel. Pontos a melhorar: 1. O cafe da manha encerra-se as 10h, durante a semana. Seria conveniente se durasse mais tempo. 2. Nao há agua de cortesia para hóspedes comuns. 3. Não tem cafeteira nem chaleira eletrica no quarto. Itens normalmente oferecidos em hoteis dessa categoria. 4. A cortina blackout não impede a claridade totalmente. 5. Há muito pouca area verde (paisagismo) no hotel. Principalmente na area externa. 6. Percebemos muito barulho na comunicação entre os funcionários do bar da piscina.
